Situated in beautiful Annandale, just a short distance from Gretna Green part of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland, the hotel is set amid five acres of scenic, elevated parkland and approached through an avenue of Beech trees. The Dryfesdale House holds one of the most enviable positions and affords some of the most beautiful views in the whole of Dumfries and Galloway. Steeped in history the hotel dates back to 1762, but with all the up-to-the-minute amenities you would expect from a top class hotel.
The hotel is an ideal place to unwind from everyday stresses. Guests can relax and enjoy the comfort of the attractive surroundings throughout the hotels public areas, which overlook the beauty of the gardens in the changing seasons. There are 25 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, all fully ensuite with modern facilities and superb views of the surrounding countryside. There are ground floor rooms with one specially adapted for disabled use. The hotel is situated just 12 miles from Gretna Green and offers a beautiful and relaxed base to explore the surrounding areas, yet is easily accessible to the motorway.
