The Geelong Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments offers: - 4 star rated motel rooms and - 3.5 star rated apartments. We are ideally located for you to take advantage of Geelong and the Great Ocean Road. We are a 300 metre walk to the Corio Bay Boardwalk and then onto the Geelong Waterfront, with all the restaurants, cafes and attractions it has to offer. Only a 2 min drive into the city centre. Our facilities include an indoor heated pool & spa, 8 Foxtel Channels including Fox Sports & Movies. All our motel rooms have Wireless Internet access - charges apply. We also have a great variety of accommodation room types. Getting there:As you approach Geelong from Melbourne, Avalon Airport, or from Ballarat Road, we are conveniently located where Mercer Street splits from the Highway. Our driveway is under the large road Gantry sign that reads "Mercer Street, City Centre". Melways reference 441 K12. Look for Kooyong road and we are located on its corner with the Princes Highway. THE Geelong Motor Inn is only 20 minutes from the AVALON domestic airport.
Check-in Procedure:Check in time is from 2:00pm, arrivals after 9.00pm need to contact the hotel directly to make arrangements. Our details will be on your booking confirmation voucher. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check in time, forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled
Car parking:Free off street parking with room for larger trailers and/or trucks. Under cover parking available.
Child Policy:Children are welcome. Rates are for TWO people. Extra person/child charge of $20 per night.
Staff we very friendly and helpful. Great location, only minutes from city centre. Our kids loved the pool! The only fault I could pick is that there isn't a butter knife in the room but there was a toaster, would think there would be a knife to spread our butter with! Will definately return to this hotel on our next Geelong trip!
The apartment is nice and the service is good. It is a reasonable price.

The photo's look better than what it is. It wasn't bad it was clean but overrated. The location is crap right near a big freeway. No I wouldn't go back there again.
The hotel is on the main road, but the glass doors and windows were double glazed, so you forget about the traffic and sleep peacefully at night. It's a couple of minutes' drive from Geelong city centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Given that this was a motor inn, the bedding was very clean and comfortable.
Staff was quite helpful. Nice room: however, there was no bat tub. Would definitely recommend.

Very convenient access to City centre and eastern/western beaches of Geelong, with direct access to Princess Highway to Avalon and Tullarmarine Airports. Also sits on main highway to Great Ocean Rd, ie Bella Beach etc.
The staff that were on duty throughout our stay were very friendly and very helpful. The room itself was comfortable although had the appearance of being spartan and the location so close to a main road was both a good and bad point. It was fine for us as it made the hotel easy to find but perhaps if staying longer or if there were children then it would not have been ideal. Having said that it was within easy reach of the waterfront. We did enjoy our stay and would like to thank the staff their for their helpful advice and friendly manner.
Excellent very helpful and friendly people
The food we ordered from the restaurant to have in our room was outstanding, cooked to perfection & presented very well, taste-fantastic. Room Service-10/10, House keeping-10/10, Chef-10/10, Reception-10/10. Very friendly staff, recommend to families. Room had loads of space and bathroom exceptionally large. Impressed & will stay with again.
Service is very efficient and location is central to all amenities.
