"The staff that were on duty throughout our stay were very friendly and very helpful. The room itself was comfortable although had the appearance of being spartan and the location so close to a main road was both a good and bad point. It was fine for us as it made the hotel easy to find but perhaps if staying longer or if there were children then it would not have been ideal. Having said that it was within easy reach of the waterfront. We did enjoy our stay and would like to thank the staff their for their helpful advice and friendly manner." - Stewart Riddel

Hotel description:

The Geelong Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments with its 4 Star Rated rooms are ideally located for you to take advantage of Geelong and the Great Ocean Road. We are a 300 metre walk to the Corio Bay Boardwalk and then onto the Geelong Waterfront, with all the restaurants, cafes and attractions it has to offer. Only a 2 min drive into the city centre.

Our facilities include an indoor heated pool & spa, 8 Foxtel Channels including Fox Sports & Movies. We also have a restaurant open for breakfast 7 days a week and for dinner Monday to Thursday. All our motel rooms have Wireless Internet access and we have an Internet kiosk set up in reception for our guests. Charges apply.

We also have a great variety of accommodation room types. You may choose from our spacious standard rooms, family rooms that sleep up to 5, spa suites, and 1 & 2 Bedroom fully self contained apartments.

Getting there:

As you approach Geelong from Melbourne, Avalon Airport, or from Ballarat Road, we are conveniently located where Mercer Street splits from the Highway. Our driveway is under the large road Gantry sign that reads "Mercer Street, City Centre". Melways reference 441 K12. Look for Kooyong road and we are located on its corner with the Princes Highway.

THE Geelong Motor Inn is only 20 minutes from the AVALON domestic airport.

Check-in Procedure:

Check in time is from 2:00pm, arrivals after 9.30pm need to contact the hotel direct on 03 5222 4777 to make arrangments.

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check in time, forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled

Car parking:

Free off street parking with room for larger trailers and/or trucks. Under cover parking available.
