Our stay here was wonderful. I had booked it as a suprise thank you for my Mother. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive and we found our Orr-arranged bottle of Prosecco chilling on our arrival. The rooms were spotless, clean and attractively decorated. We were visiting the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, so the location was perfected we were able to walk round admiring the canalboats on the way. All in all a brilliant weekend away. Thank you!
Clean and comfortable. Did not use the restaraunt, but noticed the "pub meals" served in the lounge were very popular. Had nice bathroom with twin basins.

The hotel was very nice, decor was quite old but in a good state, I liked it, it had character. Facilities were oay, cannot say anything more than this as I arrived late, had a quick drink to watch a match then off to my room. They did ask me to pay upon checking out but I had my invoice with me which showed I had already paid. Very nice rooms and would definitely stay there again.
Service not as expected - check in was average no information provided about breakfast or any other facility in the hotel. The next day the maid was banging on the door and trying to barge in at 9:45 and was not happy that we were still in the room, although check out was not till 11am. We would not stay at this hotel again!
my stay at the Grosvenon hotel stratford was very enjoyable, the staff were very friendly and helpfull, i would stay again..
We stayed here in late July 09 and found the hotel to be perfectly located for seeing the sights of Stratford-upon-Avon. Ours was a late booking with [website] with discounted room rates, I would consider that at the full rate the hotel was a little expensive even considering its position. Otherwise we could not fault the hotel
Ideally located and very friendly staff
A very good standard for a 3 Star. Staff very good especially Scottish lady. Food was good if not a bit pricey for what it was. Close to everything and very reasonable. Plenty of places close by in town for exceptional breakfasts!
Friendly, efficient staff, and comfortable room-if hotel car park is full,it is an extremely busy road to cross,to reach the pay and display. No lift ,but someone always on standby to help with luggage!
Everything fine there. We were satisfied with their service.
Staff were very friendly and service was good.
Front desk staff were very helpful; the location is a short walk to the theatre (5 minutes) Though small, the room was furnished with a little table and two chairs. We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was good.
The hotel was very comfortable and very good value for money. I will definatly be going back there and will be recommending it to my friends and family. I thought the food was very nice too and also good value for money. The location was excellent - 2 mins walk from the town centre. I had a really enjoyable visit to Stratford.
During our stay at the Hotel on Saturday, we all had to evacuate the Hotel for a while due to a fire (it later turned out that there had been a very small fire in one of the Bathrooms) But the Staff at the Hotel were extremely professional and obviously well trained in how they organised everyone. They went out of their way to try to minimise the inconvienience. I will definately be booking to stay at this hotel when I return to Stratford.
Our double bed was nice and comfortable, but the room rather dark. This was because the only small window had heavy nets for privacy as the room was overlooked by another. the bathroom lacked information as to the working of the shower and did not have a shower curtain anyway. The soundproofing was particularly bad to the bathroom next door!Last orders for dinner are 9.30pm making evening entertainment cut short, but the bar had a nice atmosphere pleasant music and stayed open til midnight.
