Best Western Hospitality House New York

My rating is based upon being upgraded to a two bedroom suite, so take it with a grain of salt. It is a good hotel, with clean rooms and a decent location. The free breakfast was not great so don't depend on it. I only had one problem; the windows were old so the street noise was hiin the bedroom.

I was an early arrival and they accommodated my time very well. For them to do that they upgraded my room, which I did not need or use but was well appreciated. Nice clean room, very spacious and comfortable beds.

I expected, like most, a clean small room in a good location. Well, two out of three isn't bad. The room was massive. It was just me on a business trip but it had a full kitchen (with full appliances), dinner table for six, decent living room, big master and a big bathroom. Next time I'm with my wife I'll be back.

At first we thought the hotel was out of the way and not very big, but after the first couple of hours we were proven very wrong. The rooms were a good size, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were excellent and helpful. Thank you.

This is the best hotel to stay at whilst in New York, fantastic location, great accomodation & wonderful staff. Will keep coming back.

Highly recommend. Great location in Midtown East near the theatres. The price includes a fantastic breakfast each day and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are apartments which are a great size and come with free internet. If I come back to New York I'd stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and although the UN General Assembly was sitting at the time we were staying,and hence there were roadblocks and high security,we can recommend this hotel to anyone for location and quality of accommoadtion.The free breakfast and internet access were fantastic for travellers like us who had lots to do and see and not a lot of time.There is the subway nearby plus the hop-on hop-off busstop is nearby,plus it is an easy walk to the Rockafeller Centre,Times Square and even Braodway.Once again,this is a great hotel for its price & location in New York.

I certainly would stay at this hotel again. It was modest but everything was perfect. No surprises.

Very good value. Spacious rooms. A little noisy as 49th Ave is a major through road to mid-town New York. Enjoyed having breakfast included.

Wonderful location and friendly staff who make you feel less like a traveller and more like a visitor. A classic and spacious New York apartment experience!

Fantatsic position in central Manhattan, easy access by subway from airport, enormous apartments, furniture showing some signs of age but fantatsic value for money for central NY. Definite will do again

Would definitely recommend the Best Western apartments as a place to stay in New York. Location is very good. We (3 adults) had a two-bed apartment which was very spacious and well equipped. Beds were extremely comfortable, and we weren't too disturbed too much by the noise outside. The breakfast is well worth making time for. Would stay here again, and would have no problem in recommending it to friends & family.

Thanks to the reviews I`ve read, I chose this hotel. To help others, I must say this hotel is a good choice in Manhattan. We were two couples and we stayed in a two bedrooms appartment. The space is huge. The kitchen is bigger than mine. It could have two bathrooms, but nothing is perfect. Notice that there`s no sign at the front of the hotel, just the number 145. Would stay there again for sure and recomend to my friends in Brazil, too.

We stayed in the Best Western on 49th street in the Thanksgiving week, mon-fri, family with 3 small kids. Location was perfect - walking distance to time square, rockefeller, central park, american girl and to the Thanksgiving parade ! Subway line around the corner. Bus tours starting on the corner Good Turkey meal (Thanksgiving!) in the Italian restaurants 2 doors along. Apartment was excellent. 2 rooms, plus kitchen & bathroom. Kitchen with dishwasher + microwave We slept in the bed-couch, our youngest in a folding bed. Breakfast provided in the room was excellent - nice and easy with the kids. Only "downside" : hardly any staff present, although we did not need them. Front desk was manned most of the time, nobody else in sight. We did not need them, so for us no problem. Recommended.

just a quick note about the Best Western Hospitality House .Enjoyed a great few days there.Staff brilliant.The rooms just super and overall I will return again next year.No faults in my eyes.

Great location, but the construction of the new lobby certainly is an issue to consider, lots of noise, dirt and wet paint all over the entrance, on the flip side, the staff was very helpfull keeping the luggage for us until late afternoon and then helping us get a van to the airport, the rooms are large and comfortable, specially if you travel with 2 teens as we did, overall was a good experience, only would advise to wait until the construction work is over.

The lobby appears a bit cramped, buit once in the suite things change. Lots of space in a recently renovated clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Not five stars but wasn´t meant to be either. Excellent value for money. And if you want five stars, Waldorf is across the street (Avenue).

Best hotel I have ever stayed in in NYC. Each room is a full apartment. Full kitchen, living room, dining room bedroom. Great staff, complimentary breakfast provided for the room, including eggs, milk, cereal, pastry. Just 4 blocks from Times Square.

We returned to the Hospitality House knowing that we would find a friendly staff to greet us, a spacious apartment, and a lovely breakfast waiting in our kitchen - and that is exactly what we found. The hotel is in an ideal location for all Midtown activities (theatre, shopping, Central Park, & countless restaurants.) We were able to combine business & pleasure in this homelike atmosphere which is not always easy to find in NYC. We would love to keep the Hospitality House a personal secret just for us, but it deserves to be enjoyed by all. You will love the atmosphere and end up feeling like a resident of New York!
