Best Western Hotel O'Hare Chicago

Was hoping to be a bit closer to the airport...(15 minute drive)the evening shuttle driver was prompt, kind and friendly which made up for the distance when I arrived. Next time will try to stay closer though...had to be at the airport at 430am the next am and waited 20 minutes past time for the am driver was supposed to pick me up Under major reconstruction so perhaps it will be much more appealing when done.

I would say my overall stay at BEST WESTERN at O'Hare would be average. i understand places need face lifts but there was very little cover up. also the elevator really needs attention.

An overpriced hotel. I booked an $80 single room, but on arrival was refused room for this price, saying that they were fully booked and that had been a booking system error. I was refused to use the reception phone to call HotelClub so I had to use the payphone. After contacting HotelClub, I was offered a $110 room. Disgusted at the attitude of the receptionist.

Cannot recommend their associated restaurant: loud & noisy, waitress was rude. We didn't stay. The noise itself was an assult to the senses after a day's travel.

The personnel is very friendly; location is excellent at short distance from the O'Hare airport, restaurants and shopping centre; rooms have a lot of space. There is a free bus shuttle to the airport 2x per hour. The downside to this hotel: the old smelly carpets.

transfer to airport was frequent and efficient. we took the train to downtown from the airport.

The hotel is ideally located for working at the O'Hare airport. The hotel personnel were all very friendly and were always willing to assist with any queries. The room was suitably furnished with a large double bed, desk and chair and two additional chairs. Hot water was always available even in the early hours, especially suited for anyone working nights at the airport. The hotel provided free wireless which at times was a bit slow (due the number of guests logged in to the network). However, in the early hours the network speed increased. Overall my impression of the hotel was very favourable and I will most certainly make arrangements to stay at this hotel on my next visit to O'Hare Airport. One last suggestion, if the guest does not have a car (an overseas visitor), then hiring a car (car hire walking distance from the hotel) is essential.

Lovely room. Very near airport but nothing else around except more hotels. Shuttle service provided on the half hour.

The property is showing wear and the lack of a restaurant makes it less desirable. The convenient location near the airport made it desirable for a short stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which is very much at the budget end of the market. I only needed a night in transit at O Hare so decided to be economical. There was a free shuttle, a refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave in my room and the staff were more than helpful - I had a baggage problem in that it had actually gone on to my final destination and not stopped in Chicago with me, but the shuttle happily took me to the Target store nearby and picked me up an hour later. The only dissapointment was the room service from the restaurant next door, very ordinary and expensive. I will use again - but not the room service.

A Reasonable choice for the traveler

This Best Western was very well situated for our needs as we were travelling from yhe airport the next day.

The 24 hour shuttle service is excellent. We were delayed and arrived at 1.30am. I rang the hotel and they sent the shuttle straight over. Excellent service!

would stay again if in the area

I'm sure I'll stay in this hotel again! Shuttle comes frequently, and free coffee is available at the lobby.

Very convenient to O'Hare with shuttle bus running 24 hrs every half hour to and from the airport.There is a train on the Blue line from O'Hare into the city also 24 hrs and running every 15 mins.

We were very pleased with our stay and the courteous service. Next time we are in Chicago, we will be repeaters V.Y. Sri lanka

This hotel was well located and we booked it at a very good price through Rates To Go. It suited our needs for the two nights we stayed. The shuttle bus was reliable and a great bonus as we returned our hire car the night before we flew out of O'Hare. The bathroom was very clean and offered an excellent shower with plenty of hot water!

Nice hotel with shuttle service to O'hare twice per hour so you can take the subway downtown.

The hotel is only 5 minutes from O'Hare airport, and was clean and reasonably priced.
