"In many ways a great Hotel for the price - spacious, nice views etc. - only let down by slow service and an even slower lift. Breakfast was a bit on the 'lame' side... we did arrive towards the end but they should keep it consistent throughout the breakfast period. The Best western Hotel Imperial is perfectly situated in the very heart of Ostend, 'City at the seaside', opposite the beach and the Casino Kursaal. Only 150 meters from the hotel, you wil find the shopping area and important to know is that the most of the shops are even open on Sunday
Dogs are alloued in the hotel but not in the breakfast room !

The numerous restaurants, the 'Visserskaai', the 'Mercator', the marina, the various museums, etc. ..., everything you will find within walking distance from the hotel.
** In accordance with the decision of the ground meeting from the 22nd June 2007, the city of Oostende will impose a city tax of 1,06 € per room per night as from the 1st January 2008, in accordance with the provisions of the law of the residence tourism.**
**Please be informed that between the 12th of November 2008 and the 5th of December 2008 we will not be able to offer breakfast as our dining room will go trough some changes.
