Best Western Karl Johan Hotell Oslo

Rooms could have been warmer but when we asked to be moved it was not a problem. All in all an excellent hotel, good location and substantial breakfast.

As usual, Best Western fails to uphold a nice indoor climate within the rooms. +30 degrees is by far not ok.

Location is easy accessible to places of attraction and public transport services. Breakfast and Wifi included. Well-worth the price.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The business lounge and breakfast area were great places to meet up with friends. It offered extra space, besides sitting in the bedroom.

Very well located and comfortable to stay. However, could do with some added facilities like a coffee maker and a safe in the room (currently not available).

Small things bring the overall impression down: one elevator, lots of small steps and descents (for example at the room entrance); shower door about 6cm too short (!), television facing bathroom, average water pressure, very noisy environs, if not from the street then from ventialtion systems behind the hotel - all this despite a good location, comfy bed and good breakfast, as well as a classic interior look. If only the whole thing could be rebuilt and some of the space up the staircase used for an extra elevator and more room space.....

Very good hotel. I'll stay there next time when come to Oslo.

Standard straight forward room, single "narrow" bed in my case. Ideal location but fell short on value for money.....

I have stayed several times at Norlandia.It has a supurb location and a very nice facade,but it definetly needs renovation...very very soon

The hotel is very nice and the location is excelent. The people working there was very helpfull. The room could have been a bit more clean.

Personally, I expected much more from this hotel. It's badly in need of a management that can truly bring out the charm of this fantasticaly located establishment. It's a shame really, since it has so much potential. The interior is dull and feels cheap. Also, steer clear of rooms towards the back of the building. The TGIF's restaurant next door has its noisy air conditioning equipment running all the time and you can hum along to it all night, even with all windows shut tight...

We were happy to stay at this hotel, it was very well located and the staff was excellent. I missed a bathtub in my room and I would also have loved some more variety in the breakfast. Our room was cleaned on the surface but nothing else, they didn't even make the bed and didn't fill up what was missing in the mini bar and in the bathroom (tissues, soap etc.)before we asked them to do it.

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Oslo. The city is very lively so some might find that theres is moise from the street at night but I found it ok. The bathroom was very basic but otherwise this hotel was perfect for those looking for a centrally located hotel in Oslo.

Good hotel, located in the middle of Oslo city, lot of restaurants and bars just few steps away. Nice for the price.

Hotel that has seen better days even if the standard is reasonable. Breakfast is great. Single rooms box like and too expensive (even at half price that I paid) even by London standards. Central location its main plus point.

Beautiful location couldn't be better, ice rink opposite, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts fantastic. Just a little noisy at night but thats what you get in city centres. Very suitable for family stay.

We loved staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well sized and what we had expected. Breakfast was top notch. The location couldnot have been better and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

WE stayed here with our four young children and had a great time. very helpful staff, the kids likes the breakfast set-up and I appreciated the wi-fi internet set-up. e would stay again.
