Everything you could expect from a 4 star hotel. We arrived much later than scheduled due to unexpected May snow when driving through the Auvergne region. The duty manager kindly upgraded us to a first class room over looking the main square and we were still able, despite the lateness of the hour, to take a sumptuous dinner in the cafeteria. The buffet breakfast was also plentiful and good. A big plus was check out was not until 12noon so this allowed time to sleep in and also visit Chartres Cathedral (5 mins walk) before continuing our journey. The only draw back is the private parking which is set back some 5 minutes walk behind the hotel. So if you have a lot of luggage unload first. Would highly recommend.
