good value for money

Nice hotel, well located near the central train station and not much of a walk into the city and local attractions. The hotel is clean and tidy and the room size is good. We had breakfast included which was pretty decent. I would happily stay here again, next time I am in Milan.

Really enjoyed my stay here, hotel was lovely, staff very friendly. In good location only few minutes walk from Central station where it was really easy to get transport on Metro to all the main attractions. Would go back there again.

The hotel is located near the station in a rather seedy area. The room on the second floor was a bit tired but ok - until I had a bath. When I emptied it water came back up through a drain between the loo and bidet and would have flooded the floor if I'd not noticed in time. Rooms on the 4th floor where breakfast was served looked far better. Breakfast was poor. The boiled eggs were cold, and old enough that there was a blue/green discoloration around the yolk. The water to make tea with was luke warm. The bread was stale. Staff were ok - we couldn't be bothered to complain....

I would say the Madison Hotel deserves its 4 star rating,we found the hotel spotiless clean,with rooms nicely decorated,clean,and with everything you would expect from a hotel of this rating.Although the bathroom was on the small size,the shower was very roomy,with a lovely power shower,which was fantastic.If you want a hotel close to the central train station,which is handy if you are using the coach to get from the airport,this is ideal,however you do get some undiserables hanging around,so would not recommend for someone traveling on thier own.I would certainly recommend this hotel,and i would use again.

We got a very friendly reception and were upgraded to a room with a balcony just because, as the desk clerk said, 'we like to upgrade people if we have a better room available'. The hotel was excellent but just like most hotels located near train stations I would not go walking about alone at night.

Very well placed to Railway services. Supermarket at the Railway station. Would stay again if return to Milan. The advantage of the rail system is that many other centres are easily to visit, such as Florence, Bolzano and Bergamo. No need to hire a car and have the stress of driving.

The street noise throughout the night makes it almost impossible to sleep well. Although the location is convenient being very close to the train station, the neighbourhood does seem a bit rough.

This hotel is the best in Milan. 3rd time staying here and its kept its quality. I would recommend this if you want the perfect stay in Milan. Staff speak perfect English and provide sound advice on things to do in Milano!! 5 star service

We were only here for one night but the hotel seemed nice. The rooms were good and were kept clean and the staff were helpful and professional. The breakfast was very good with a good standard of food and great selection as well. The only problem was the street it was situated in. It had lots of decaying food and rubbish dumped in it and was frequently used by some of the locals as a toilet. To be fair though we found this whole area of Milan to be a bit like that but this street was one of the worst. So overall, a nice hotel but a bad location.

nothing very exceptional, clean and economic. conviniently located, metro is 3 minutes walk, good service. value for money. if happens to stay there again - yes i will.

Nice, newly renovated rooms. Good value. The only drawback is the neighborhood (near the Central Station), which appears dangerous after dark. This can be avoided by taking taxis.

would recommend this one as is very close to the train station and all other attractions close by, other transport all so easy access e.g. trams, buses with in walking distance.

A very pleasant and attractive hotel with well equipped rooms including robes and tea making facilities. Excellent breakfast and good service. Walking distance to station though in a back street with little else in the way of shops in immediate vicinity.
