Getting there:Best Western Ballarat is located directly opposite Sovereign Hill Historical Park. Travelling from Melbourne follow the Western Freeway to Ballarat, take the 1st Ballarat exit. Continue 4km along the main thoroughfare to the large roundabout at McDonalds Bakery Hill. Turn left to Humffrey Street, continue 100m and turn left into Main Road. Proceed 1.4km along Main Road following the directional signs to Sovereign Hill. Continue on Main Road, 200m past the Sovereign Hill turnoff. We are located directly opposite the Poppet Head mine structure overlooking Sovereign Hill. ** Please note the property is a complete Non-smoking property **

The place was very well located to the replica gold mining village. It was semi close to downtown. The romms were clean and the staff was very accomating. Would stay their again.

The Best Western Ballarat was the best motel room I have ever stayed in. The rooms were modern, clean and generously stocked with tea, coffee and toileties. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and pillows devine... very high quality. It is a little way out of town itself, too far to walk however I would highly recommend this place... and I am fussy.. just ask my husband!
Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Complimentary light breakfast in room was great bonus to get us going in the morning. Also added bonus was the kitchenette. Cleanliness very good, and service was with a smile! Aim to stay again! Highly recommended! Sovereign Hill literally across the road.
Great stay. We were even given a complimentary continental breakfast. Hot breeky could be order to the room if required for cost.
I absolutley reccommend this motel!! Modern & spacious!! King sized bed, great kitchenette, even the roll away bed was comfy! Thumbs up from me and I am very very fussy!!
Best Western Ballarat Suites are perfectly situated opposite Sovereign Hill and also near a family restaurant. Staff were professional and pleasant. Highly recommend property as it was very clean and suites having modern decore.

Everything was great. Staff rang me to ask what time we were arriving and arranged for Key to be left out. Could not ask for any more. Motel room was clean and quiet.
We had an executive suite on a special rate but it was fantastic just like a small apartment. Could have spent more time there relaxing and doing more walks to the tourist places closeby.
We had a great experience at Best Western Ballarat Suites. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job on the room when it was serviced and staff were friendly and informative. The hotel was close to places to eat that match all budgets and the bathroom was amazing! If we ever need to stay in Ballarat again we will definately come back. Thank you

Very nice rooms and bathrooms, we stayed in an executive suite with some kind of lounge area, king size bed, walk-in-shower and two sinks in the bathroom. The welcome at the reception was good. The only issue is that the hotel is a bit far from the city and it would not be possible to walk to the city.
very nice room and a very good spa. only thing we didn't like was there was no couch in the lounge room.
my husband and I were very impressed with our room - very clean - well appointed - warm and cosy - stayed there twice and if we return to ballarat in the future we would stay there again

Clean and spacious rooms. The owner let us use the laundry facilities for free.
Really good price on an excellent room with a real double spa bath. Excellent value.
