Very friendly staff (as they claim), they appeared to have a nice restaurant (didn't have time to go in), but the rooms/hallways were lacking. When you have to walk all the way around the building on your floor, and have to open about 10 (no exaggeration) firedoors, while carrying luggage, it's a sign that the building needs upgrading. The rooms were quaint and decent. The bathrooms were fairly nice. Good location (few blocks walk) to the bus and train station. I'd give it 3.5 stars.
Our room was nice and large with a nice bathroom but the other room that I booked for our friends was tiny and was a smoking room and really smelt dreadful. The reception staff were not interested at all with the problem. Parking was in a dingy car park around the corner which was not very convenient with luggage. The hotel seems quite large and you have to wander through lots of corridors with heavy fire doors. Breakfast was OK but I wouldn't stay there again.
A very very enjoyable stay.
Very helpful when arrived at the reception desk, with maps, sites , where to eat..... the room for 2 was adequate. Unfortunately, the bottom sheet of my bed was stained, there were no bath towels. After a note I left in the room, the sheet was promptly changed and 2 bath towels were left in the bathroom although over washed and tired but clean. I might use it again for its location, central and near station and coaches. Out of 10 I will rate it 7/8
The breakfast menu was the same for five days. At least a littlte variation would be better.
good location friendly staff. would definitely stay there again if visiting limerick
Hotel was in a central location, we had a lovely big room. The staff were helpful, parking was included. Overall it was a great place to stay. The breakfast was adequate.
Service at Reception was good; service in Bar was poor.
Nice hotel, I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip and I have no complaints. Centrally located, close to the railway and bus station.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Shame I have to 'trawl' the internet to get the best rate!
Excellent service and very good breakfast. We only paid £52 per night for a double room. Excellent value for money.
Excellent hotel in a great location. The staff were all very pleasant and the room was fine. I would stay here again on a visit to Limmerick
The hotel was located in a rough location in the City centre of Limerick. There were lots of people hanging around drinking in the streets & broken glass etc.
Rooms facing the front of the building are subject to considerable noise from local music bars - rooms to the rear face into the roof of the restaurant and have a fine view of all the ventilation systems. In every other respect, this is a good hotel.
Very helpful staff Good central city location Noisy at night due to proximity of local pubs
Good hotel, great location for those who wish to go shopping, and good secure car park.
The main problem was the loud noise from a bar opposite the hotel and people shouting in the street below. The weather was very hot and the room had no air con but with the windows left open it was impossible to sleep at night because of the noise from outside. The hotel also ran out of fans for customers.
Great hotel - spotless, comfy and friendly. Highly recommended.
It was clean and fine for the price. Shower was very good!!
Fine hotel and fairly central. Nice that they had a triple room with three twin beds and at a great price too. The breakfast was wonderful and so was the free parking in a secured garage.
