Second time staying here. Like the location, close to two underground stations. Street parking nearby - free from18.30 to 08.30 - but need luck or patience to get a space. Outside Congestion zone. Good Continental breakfast Nice Hotel. Room (double) was tight
Very convenient location - to underground station, eating outlets, shops and near to attractions and pick-ups by local tour buses. Good range for the buffet continental breakfast. Would have been excellent if free internet facilities offered at the computer placed in the lounge. Overall, good hotel to stay despite room being on the small side although not cramped.
I got this hotel for a good price. It was in a good location, safe, clean and had free wifi. Perfectly happy. Room was small but adequate.
The Phoenix Hotel is always clean, comfortable and feels like home - I love staying here.
This comfortable hotel is now on my return list. Easy to get to on the Underground - Queensway or Bayswater - the place is comfy and clean. The bar was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. The bathroom was spacious and smart, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The single room that I got was small, only big enough for the bed. When I opened the bathroom door, it hit the side of the bed. But, I guess thats London for you. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and I'd probably stay there again. It not bad if you're traveling alone. But don't expect American Style accommodations.
The "restaurant" was only open for breakfast and was a very cramped, small room that you had to queue for. In my room the furniture was a little shabby and some of the light bulbs needed to be replaced. The staff were very friendly though.
Nice Hotel, close to the underground. Walking distance to the city. Staff helpfull and friendly.
Spacious room, however, staff not very friendly. When asked why room was so hot and stuffy, reply was, "they are always like that". Pedestal fan provided but no A/C. Not recommended during summer months! However, location is tops with great restaurants nearby and very close to 2 tube stations (Bayswater and Queensway).
The hotel is very goog situated close to Bayswater tube and Queensway, it is just few minutes from all attractions in the center. Very convenient that it is only one station from Paddington, so you are quite close to Heathrow express on your way to Heathrow Airport. The hotel itself is very clean.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel and would like to stay again. However have not been able to get a decent price on any internet site since my first time!
I found the room I was allocated was unpleasant. I asked for a move and was given one speedily and efficiently. That was good! Handy for Paddington Station, not troubled with traffic noise.
Excellent Location, easy access to London on the tube! Rooms were very comfortable and service was very pleasant.
Excellent location and very helpful & friendly staff.
Nice comfortable hotel, with a little bit more space in the rooms than most London hotels. Fresh appearance. Breakfast was fine as well.
It was a nice hotel.
I can definitely recommend this hotel for this price range. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. We were not charged for internet access in the lobby (although the sign posted there included a price list for usage). One of the best features is the extremely quiet location - no street noise what so ever.
Apart from the size of the room, which was really small, everything was fine.
Have stayed here before and will stay again next time. Very good location, close to underground.
I had a rather small single room but it was non smoking as per my request, and clean, with refurbished small bathroom. Very convenient location, near transport, shops and restaurants.
