Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort

The hotel had excellent location, ca 300m from beach, close to many restaurants and shops, stuff was very friendly and spoke good english, buffet breakfast was great, free wifi at the lobby, hotel room was very clean, ca 30m2, with a big terrace

- They didn't have comb in bathroom, even when I request one. - The hotel have only 1 taxi, you should pre-order if you wanna make sure you won't miss the ride. Anyway, the view was quite good, and the hotel was beautiful

Old resort in the best location on the lagoon with some ocean views as well. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Friendly staff. We have been here twice, and would go again.

Get a room on the top floors, it's a great view!

The staff are brilliant, friendly, always smiling, and more than willing to assist where possible. A couple of drawbacks might be the initial climb up to the lifts, very hard beds, and a little way from shops and the beach. Just as an aside, stay away from Joe Cools ( or was it Cool Joe's ) Rest/Bar up the road at another Hotel. Very average and way overpriced.

Our first visit in Thailand became a fantastic experience. The Phuket Ocean Resort is a nice, but big, hotelcomplex which is vlimbing up a hillside. There are only elvator for part of the floors so some physical exercise is to expect. For us it was good, we lost a couple of pounds during our stay! Very friendly staff who helped us correctly and quickly whenever we needed their support. Breakfastroom a bit crowdy during "peek". The breakfastbuffet was ok, nothing extra but satisfied us. The nearby beach lovely!

Excellent place, I really enjoyed staying there. The staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered in a hotel, especially at frontdesk and kitchen. Location is good with ocean views across from Karon Beach. Close enough to the nightlife in Patong and Karon, yet apart enough to be quiet.

A very good value. Short walk to the beach. Three nice pools. Breakfast was average. Restaurant below par but plenty of nice places around there. Karon is the best beach area. It has a lively little night life. Close enough to Patong if you want to howl. We found Kata beach area to be too busy. I highly recommend Phuket Ocean Resort and look forward to returning there.
