Getting there:Located three hour's drive north of Melbourne and 6 hour's drive south of Sydney. Going South we are situated on the left side of the Hume Highway just before crossing the Victorian Border. Airport 10 minutes drive. Public transport just outside our door.
Check-in Procedure:24 hour checkin available - if reception is closed a wall phone is situated directly beside the main entrance of the hotel.
Car parking:We offer complimentary undercover car parking with lift access. Suitable coach, boat and trailer parking available.
Child Policy:Children welcome - Double Sofabed (suitable for 2 small children ONLY) or there is room for rollaway - cost $7.50. Cots available - cost $7.50
Nice Rooms but lift did not work and difficult to access.
The hotel is well presented, clean and well furnished although it is a good distance from the carpark under the rooms back to the building entrance then back down the corridor depending on where the room is. No concierge/porter service is provided although reception staff are friendly. The hotel does have a restaurant although a 15 minute walk enables local restaurants in the main street to be accessed.
**CITY STLYE IN RURAL SETTING** Modern Suite. Suitable for corperate guests or that special weekend away. Lift access to all rooms with undercover parking. Indoor spa/sauna. Outdoor pool/spa. *BROADBAND* and wireless internet in room.
Great restaurant in motel
An excellent hotel. The food in the restaurant was absolutely first class and the staff very friendly and helpful.
We wished we could have stayed longer!
The Country Comfort Hovell Tree Albury had a fantastic country feel. It was a great hotel for just passing through as it had what was needed. The full hot breakfast was delicious.
Very impressed with service, eg ringing before bringing up breakfast. Disapointing that the gym equipment was out of order, but enjoyed our stay.
Room Service for dinner took too long, 45min wait. Breakfast Buffet was superb however was not real impressed with dinner, the food tasted rather soggy due to meals wrapped with glad wrap when delivered to the room. Charcoal Squid meal was very bland with very very strong taste of charcoal. Pita Pizza was very soggy, and battered fish was very much the same. Meals were quite expensive. On a positive note, reception and restaurant staff service were excellent, facilities fantastic. I'll be back again but hope the food improves.
Girl at reception when I booked in was fantastic. Food and service in restuarant was excellent.
The description wasn't accurate. It said that there was a Microwave in the premier suite. On arrival we discovered there wasn't a microwave, something we needed as we have a baby. The staff were very helpful and promptly provided a microwave.
A short walk into town. Great bar. Enjoyed complimentary drinks. Good restaurant. Great breakfast.
Our stay was most enjoyable. The motel is very nicely presented, the staff were all very pleasant and the food was good. Thank you.
