A magnificent structure over four hundred years old (which was owned by the Inquisition), and transformed into a boutique hotel in 1994, the Best Western Premier Santo Domingo Madrid is no ordinary hotel. The Best Western Santo Domingo is an authentic museum where from the moment of your arrival, you will be surrounded by the finest paintings, furniture, antiques, and works of art. The majority of these precious artifacts and antiquities are works from the best artists of their time. When you stay at the Best Western Santo Domingo, you can enjoy these pieces much like the old aristocracy would. So there''s no question that you will be staying in style. Step into your elegantly decorated guestroom and you will find that you will indeed sleep in a museum. Every guestroom and suite is appointed in a different style, making each room truly unique. Lush amenities and artistic touches will greet you every time you enter your room. And the nearest museum is right outside your door. The field of painting is represented by the most famous artists of the Nineteenth Century- Esquivel, Madrazo, Palmaroli, Esteve, Balaca and others. Many of their works can be admired in the galleries of the "El Prado" Museum, the Royal Palace, the Municipal Gallery, the Fine Arts Academy of Saint Fernando, the Romantic Museum and others, whose signed paintings form a part of the Best Western Premier Santo Domingo collection.

Best Western Premier Santo Domingo Hotel Madrid Guest Reviews

4.8 out of 5

The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast

3.8 out of 5

Very handy location within 3 mins walk of 3 metro stations. Don't be misled into catching metro all the time, even Retiro park is walkable. A bit disappointed with the room (227) which seemed very cramped and was tucked right at rear with views you'd keep the curtains closed for. The staff however were very polite and forgiving of our meagre Spanish. Breakfast was good if a little predictable and we chose to eat out of an evening rather than rush back. 4* is pushing it a bit, I've stayed in better 2 & 3* but nonetheless a pleasant and clean stay. If all you want is B & B go for it if the price is right for you otherwise I'd choose elsewhere.

A lovely hotel - and most of the staff were very courteous and helpful. Howver, woman who checked us in was not very friendly and welcoming, and was equally cool when we checked out. Staff training in customer service may help!!

Very attractive hotel, reasonably spacious room (outstanding bathroom with jacuzzi tub), excellent service. Location convenient, immediately adjacent to Metro. II will definitely stay there again.
