"I was extremely disappointed with this hotel in many ways. When i arrived i paid the remaining balance by debit card and was given a receipt for this, thinking everything was fine. When my wife and i checked out the following day they said they didn't accept the card i used and they would have to refund my card and i had to pay in cash. Not only did i have to pay the balance again, but the refund takes 5 days to go through and they could've told me the situation at any time during my stay, rather than leave it until check out. Staff should be clear about payment details in the first place! Rooms were small, staff were sitting in corridors on bedding, doors didn't lock, expensive for what it was (no breakfast incl), mini-bar almost empty, smoke stains in the room, noisy air-con, bar only open til 9pm. Wont be staying here again!" - Anonymous

Getting there: By car: The hotel is 100 yards up Shaftesbury Avenue from Piccadilly Circus approximately 1 mile north of Victoria and east of Marble Arch and Hyde Park. It is 20 minutes from the M4 and A40 (M) and 10 minutes from the City.

By Air: Heathrow is less than an hour by car and the Heathrow Link Bus stops within a mile of the hotel. City Airport is 35 minutes away by car and the Gatwick Express at Victoria Station is 15 minutes by public transport.

By rail: Victoria, Paddington, Waterloo, Charing Cross and Euston are all within one a half miles of the hotel and are about 15 minutes by public transport.

By underground: There are 4 main underground stations close to the hotel: Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road offering the Central, Bakerloo, Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly Lines.
