Reception - staff very friendly. Left our bags as we arrived early. When we returned we were taken to our room. Compact and bijou. However bathroom extractor fan did not work and as it was an internal bathroom in a 4 star hotel I asked for a room change. This was not initially well received as I was told the hotel was full. i persisted and we were upgraded but to a room in part of the hotel that was being renovated. Initially the room was better until we heard the heating pumps going with an banging and rattling noise. After another conversation this was sorted out. Early Sunday morning someone tried to enter the room; fortunately the door was locked and bolted. But we slept well and the bed was very comfortable. Good value for money as the location and convenience made up for the renovation work.
Everything A1 the only reccomendation I would make would be to offer a double bed in a double room rather than 2 single beds put together. Other than that the staff and hotel is faultless. Essentially it is the staff that make a hotel and this hotel's staff are on the ball and second to none!!
very good hotel----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The room was nice but a bit too small, close to transit facilities, and loads of stores around. Great location if you plan on spending a lot of time in central London.
big rooms in club rooms.very quiet ,1 min to underground station.friendly staff.nice bathroom.with shampo.
As a review I read stated, "good for a quick overnight stay", I could not agree more! The room was very small and needed a little extra care ( holes in the window treatment, slow drain, a wee bit of mold in the corners of shower). It would have been fine for a one night stay. Additional aggravations: took 4 calls to the front desk to get the heat sorted out in the room. No wifi in the room, just traditional hook up(this would have been fine if i was not using my ipad) comforter smelled like smoke, and the darn iron was tethered to the ironing board (who does that?). It was just not a comfortable stay.
Needed an overnight stay as we were attending Hammersmith Apollo for a concert. Excellent location for access via Earls Court tube. Ditto for link to Kings Cross. Room 412 fine for 1 night but a bit small for longer stay. part of a connecting suite that is normally let to families and the connecting door was not soundproofed which was somewhat annoying. Some rooms are in the semi basement area too and not so attractive so it is wise to call ahead and clarify your requirements 5 storeys and one rather slow and relatively small lift; still it meant one could get fit by using the stairs Beware at check in. make sure you say you require breakfast as if you don't and your rate excludes it, it will cost an additional £4 per person. Strange policy but you have been warned. Breakfast a little disorganised too with staff not too sure of their roles and table setting seemed to be somewhat challenging and haphazard. For a 4 star hotel this was not up to scratch.
Good Location, close to station, clean rooms
Close to train station, clean, would stay again.
Great location, near Earl's Court tube station. Room was very nice - clean and spacious. My only complaint was that the bed was not the most comfortable & pillows a little on the hard side. But for one night it was definitely great value. I would go back again.
I had a deluxe double room for two persons, but the bad was for one and half person.
Guy on front desk was often rude, didn't seem to understand what i was saying half the time and wouldn't call us a taxi! Instead told us to walk around til we found one.
Always helpfull and friendlt staff. Great access to Earls Court Tube Line. Good room layout and comfortable.
Very convenient location, just around the corner from Earls Court Tube Station and plenty of eateries. Room on smallish side for a double, but nicely furnished and very clean with free internet connection. Slight noise from late night revellers in the street making their way home, but then it was a Saturday. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Overall would definitely recommend.
Very small room, but more than enough if you are alone and on business. Internet (not Wifi) provided for free in the room. Location was very good, only a two minute walk to Earl´s Court underground.
The price is OK for the room and the location. The room (Deluxe Double) was VERY small, but nicely renovated (although with cheap material). OK for one night, but not for a longer stay.
This realy is a boutique hotel in every sense. Rooms are clean and well equipped but very small. Tiny reception area no bar or restauarant. Breakfast ib the basement cafeteria was excellent.
We had an excellent stay, at a very good price. The room was lovely. They only down side was we were a bit cold overnight. However we would recomend!
The TV didnt work and neither did the heating. It was freezing all night as the windows contained vents that meant it always let the cold in, baring in mind this was one of the coldest new years I've experienced, it wasn't a comfortable and cosy night sleep. For the price hike at new years it's not worth it, but the room was nice, nice bathroom and very close to earls court tube so it wasn't completely rubbish. For a 4* hotel I didn't expect any of these problems.
Nice quiet hotel with clean rooms and spacy bathrooms. Would definately recommend, it was one of the best hotels I have been in London for this pricerange. Also good connection to tube, just 100m from Earls Court station. If I would have to say something negative then it would be the juices served during the breakfast, that seem to be watered a lot.
