Getting there:Catch either the Super Shuttle or Airbus departing from outside the arrivals gate at the airport every 20 minutes. Both shuttles will drop you near our front door. If driving: From South: Enter Auckland City via Nelson Street, then turn left on Victoria Street West. We are located on the left on Victoria Street West between Queen Street and Albert Street. From North: Enter Auckland City via Fanshawe Street, turn right into Hobson Street, then turn left into Victoria Street West. We are located on the left on Victoria Street West between Queen Street and Albert Street.

The staff is very helpful. i was at the 4th floor, face to the bungy show. This hotel is well located.There ars bus stop in front of the hotel.you are at 3 minutes to get to queen street. A little noisy at this floor but the room is correct.
It's located very close the Queen Street where the heart of Auckland is. The only problem with my stay in this hotel is the parking lot is limited and very small space. You must be an expert to park your car or you may get scratched easily. The hotel also required you to BOOK car park lot which cost you NZ15 per night.

We booked two twin rooms and were given 1 twin and 1 triple as we had a child travelling with us. Luckily we were able to obtain a car park @ NZ$15 per day as we didn't know reservation was needed. Surprised that the room comes with microwave and good stock of cups/plates. The staff at the reception were very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front of hotel faces the bungy jump and a night club is less than a block away. Night club was broadcasting music into street until about 5 AM. This may have been special occasion for a Thursday night because no music heard on Friday night. If possible ask for room facing the rear side.
We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel room. It had more services than we expected, centrally located but nice and quiet.
Large refurbished, comfortable room with kitchenette. All very clean and presentable although somewhat minimalist in style. Very good value and efficient, if not warm, reception staff. Did not use available restaurant, so cannot comment. All around the good hotel location were cafes and restaurants, and access to the main shopping and transport street. So it was easy to use the airport bus. Internet and movie access from room easy but at a price. Would use the hotel again.

We went to Best Western President after walking out of All Seasons hotel which was dreadful. Best Western isn't in the same league as City Life or Heritage but we were up graded to a really nice suite. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all an enjoyable stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western President Hotel especially coming from Christchurch after the big earthquake and ongoing after shocks. The hotel was central and the service was brilliant. Handy to everything, public transportation and the amazing Queen street shopping area and Sky City. The staff were nice and friendly. The Teo family would recommend the Best Western President Hotel to anyone who has access to this review. Thank you so much for the great service.
I had no trouble checking in or ordering a late check-out on my departure date. Friendly and not overbearing staff which I enjoyed. Guest laundry facilities were fabulous, although I did wish the dryer instruction notice on Level 5 included a warning not to load more than one coin at any one time/to wait until that time had expired before attempting to put more coins in. I had wanted the dryer to dry my clothes for at least an hour and so I placed one $2 coin in; and then another before pressing the start button. Guess what? It only operated for a 1/2 hour (equivalent of one $2 coin) instead of my expected 1 hour. I did alert staff in reception to this courtesy notice. But have not returned to see if my recommended action was taken. Otherwise pleasant stay in a centrally located site. Would definitely visit again, and the discount I received via HotelClub was invaluable. Thanks :}
Good central hotel. staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Please note when booking done with the help of a Hotel Club staff member, carparking was assured as she rang hotel. When we got their had to find our own carpark next door at Wilson car parks.
Accommodation and room service could not be faulted. Noisy location - 24 hour traffic noise, bungee jump tower across the street operating until early hours. Disappointing approach to charging for "extras", (eg $2 per day for a safe that is already in the room, $10 to use laundry, high internet charges. Restaurant & Buffet breakfast well below standard.
Manager eric P was very helpful the room was very good and overall we were very pleased with our stay we would use this hotel again and recommend it to others
Have stayed twice at this hotel, once in an apartment with 2 bedrooms & this time in a single room. I would highly recommend it to anyone, clean, tidy, quick check in & out in the morning. Very nice facilities.
I personally found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean - and I do check bathrooms in particular. It is right in the centre close to restaurants, transport, Sky City etc. I will certainly be recommending to others and stay there again myself when returning to Auckland.
The location is great. Would definitely stay again.
Car Parking area is too small and the turning area of second base is too difficult, I scratched my car when I left today. Unhappy.
