Situated in the "Worlds Most Liveable City" on the top 4 floors of a modern 18 storey building, Riverside Apartments feature panoramic views of the Yarra River, Port Philip Bay and the City skyline. We are conveniently located at the entertainment end of town, directly across the River from the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centres, Southgate Restaurants and only 2 minutes walk to the Observation Deck and Melbourne Aquarium. The free City Circle tram stops at our front door giving you easy access to the MCG, Colonial Stadium, Rid Laver Area (Tennis Centre), the Arts Centre and major Melbourne shops. Ideally suited for either business persons, families or groups.

Getting there:Citylink from airport, into Flinders St and left into Highlander Lane. By train : alight at Spencer Street Station and walk south for 1 block on Spencer St. Turn left into Flinders lane and walk just over a block crossing King St, turn right into Higlander Lane.
Check-in Procedure:Check in is in Highlander Lane which runs parallel between King & William Streets. If you have a car pull up outside & a member of staff will direct you where to park. "PLEASE NOTE" Rates are for two guests only - each extra adult is $30 per night, children aged 3-15 years are $20 per night per child. We are open 24 hours but if you intend to be late please let us know.
Car parking:Undercover security parking is available at a cost of $25.00 per day (usually charged at $34.00)
Child Policy:Cots are provided free of charge
We stayed here for New Year's Eve and it was a perfect location right on Flinders Street. The room was comfortable and clean, very nice. The only downside was the parking, having to pay an additional $25 to park in the secure parking. Other than that, the staff were friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Best Western Apartments look fairly recently refurbished, but the underlying bones of the building are still relatively old - so the lifts are a bit creaky and the aircon/climate control in our apartment was very loud and not particularly efficient. Despite this, the 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and had very nice views of the Yarra and South Bank/Crown Casino. It was very convenient for the Convention Centre (which is why we were there), but still in the CBD, enabling easy access to the City. The kitchen looked fairly well kitted out, though I have to say we only ended up using it for breakfast...

A terrific apartment close to Southbank and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Clean, quiet and friendly. One tip, though, would be to install large Plasma or LCD TVs to compliment the spacious loungeroom. Otherwise the apartment was ideal for my 3 day business trip to Melbourne.
Fantastic location with great view of the City lights and river. Very pleasant experience and would recommend to others to stay.
Great central Location
The 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic. Big rooms, very clean, quiet and right across the bridge to the Casino and Southbank. Tip: Parking at the public car park v the apartment carpark is confusing as they are under the apartments. In saying this, I accidentally parked in the public carpark which proved to be cheaper in the end.
Good 2BR sized apartment. Unfortunately, there's only one bathroom/toilet. Parking facilities limited and cramp. Entrance to car park area also a little tight if you've got a big vehicle.
Would stay here again when in Melbourne
The apartment was lovely and spacious. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Hope to stay there again in the not too distant future. Convenient to all transport and amenities.

The Riverside Apartments are very clean and are of good size. We have stayed their before and have had a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom either are good. Views are good from the rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Apartments are close to the Aquarium, Crown Casino Complex, Shopping and public transport. Many attractions are in walking distance so you can park the car and walk. We will stay their again.
