Riverside Hotel Motel Launceston

This is our third stay at this motel. We find this motel very convenient to stay at and we have always had excellent service. The Bistro has great food.

Good sized room at an attractive rate and as part of the hotel complex also offered value meals. Easy drive into Launceston. Location a little noisy but overall very good value.

This was not a bad place to stay but there are some issues that you should be aware of if considering this accommodation. The motel rooms are located across a car park behind the hotel which is located on a reasonably busy road. This led to a lot of early morning noise. We booked a standard room and a family room. The beds in the family room and in particular the 2nd bedroom were in very poor condition.

My wife and I both agreed that the room rate was fantastic ,particularly considering we were given a hot breakfast that would have fed an army! We plan to return and bring our kids before long!

Our room had badly stained carpet and the decor dated back to the 70's. When we arrived the room has been sprayed with something that was so strong we had to leave the doors and windows open to air the room. Apart from that, the beds were comfy and the room was clean.

The room was clean, staff was very friendly, little far from the city but worth it.......

Riverside Hotel Motel was the best family friendly place to stay Great family menu, great service & great pricing will stay again.

Neat, tidy, quiet and good value. A little bit out of the city which suited the two of us, but with very good hotel facilities that would suit a family. I would go back again.

Bit noisy from patrons leaving pub and traffic on main road out of Launceston. Cooked breakfast was excellent.

I was disappointed with the meal that we had in the hotel, I had Lasagne that was bland and overcooked and my husband had steak which was also over cooked other than that the hotel was fine

Very helpful staff, good value meals in adjoining restaurant. Located by noisy main road.

Clean and comfortable, particularly nice bed,handy to city, but with a little traffic noise,though quieter at night. There are other good types of businesses in the area, shops,swimming pool,and convention centre. The motel has gambling,bistro and bottleshop on the premises

Upgrade of rooms had just been completed,it was clean &comfortable, beds were extremely comfy. Bistro/hotel attached had good meal selection & friendly staff. Bit noisy at end of night but only for a short period of time. Would recommend it to others & I would return there when in Launceston.
