"The accommodation was appropriate for our needs. Opposite the motel is a good local shopping centre (Post Office, chemist,grocery store,newsagency and fruit & veg, also a great coffee shop). Bus stop outside the motel to station and Brisbane CBD.
We will stay again.

Best Western Sunnybank Star Motel & Apartments is ideally situated to offer the corporate and leisure traveller convenient location in clean, comfortable accommodation. Just 2 minutes off both the M1 & M3 freeways makes this is the perfect base to explore all Brisbane has to offer or the fabulous attractions of the Gold Coast.
The Motel is 30 minutes to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, 20 minutes to both Airports, 10 minutes to ANZ stadium, 15 minutes to Chandler Swimming Centre and 5 minutes to Garden City and Sunnybank Shopping Centres.
We have 60 units, 21 of which are 2 bedroom self contained apartments which sleep up to 5 people. All rooms have a minimum of coffee & tea making facilities plus ISD phones, air conditioning, TV, foxtel, ironing equipment etc. Smoking and non smoking rooms are available.
For a very special dining experience try the multi award winning Michael’s Oriental Restaurant or hold your next conference or function there. Michael’s caters for casual dining plus functions and conferences for up to 400 people with multi-sized rooms, equipped with the latest in audiovisual.
There is a 7 day shopping centre across the road and a bus service to the city stopping every 15 minutes at our gate. |

From Airports:
A taxi will take approximately 20 - 40 minutes from the both the Domestic & International Airports. Depending on traffic.
From the City:
You can catch bus number 150 from the Myers Centre,(Platform A8) in the Queen Street Mall in the city centre and get off at the Padstow Views stop which is directly outside the Motel gate. This is the express service and takes about 20 minutes.
