Best Western Univers Hotel Cannes

"Had problems accessing the internet during my stay. Hotel staff was helpful in getting a refund for the internet provider. However, paying 13 euros per person per day for breakfast which includes cold scramble eggs, ham, some cheese & breads is a total rip- off. " - Huey Yi Wang

"Stayed a wonderful week in Cannes. Hotel was a nice surprise and would stay there again. Location is perfect (close to beach, railwaystation, busses, shopping, old city, open markets). We even had a climpse of sea view from our 5th floor french balcony. Also air condition is working. There are some items that can be improved: sound insulation (we had detached room (door to next room) and it was possible to hear even words of conversation in next room) and bed is not the best one. Breakfast we didn't try, because we thought that 13 euros is too much. Anyway it was lovely to take a breakfast after small walk in one of many sidewalk cafes (I'd say there are tens of cafes within 200m to choose from) and feel the atmosphere when city is waking up (cafe, juice, croisant and eggs with bacon for 7-8 euros)). "The location of the hotel is very good, but beds are really bad. Two beds in our room were very uncomfortable (I guess they were old ). WC does not work very good. People in the hotel are nice and helpful, the hotel is clean, but facilities should better be changed. " - Anonymous
