"I read the comments which said that this hotel was tiring ..... & in part I agree, although the public areas are spick, span & pleasant.
it is maybe a 15 minute walk to duomo or a short bus ride. at the right price this is a tourist class hotel that represents good value. There is more than enough to occupy anybody in this city without needing to spend an inordinate amount of time in the hotel. " - Anonymous
"The location is quite far as we need to take at least 20 min. walk to the center of down town. It is not close to the Arno River and no view at all (not that we expect). Compare to the other hotel which is just next to the Arno the price is quite high. I think this hotel is good for the group but not for the individual." - Grace Tam
"An awesome hotel. Though we had checked out of the hotel they allowed us back in, late in the afternoon to have a shower after completing the Florence marathon. Very close walking distance to everything. Highly recommended. " - David & Wendy Beverley
"The Capitol is close to all the major sights, museums and wonderful retaurants etc-walking distance if you like or staff will call a taxi if needed. Helpful staff, comfortable rooms though small, and nice breakfasts included. Good value." - Eleanor Cameron
