"Rooms clean but a little shabby at the edges. Great for the races and close to the middle of town. given the races were on checking in after 2.00 when the races start at 2 showed little regard for customers and when asked reception showed no inclination whatsoever to help. Didn't use the restaurant or breakfast but had a lovely breakfast a couple of doors down at a lovely cafe for half the price!" - Adrian Brookes
"It appears the hotel is being run by very young, untrained staff, and it shows. The rooms are shabby and in desperate need of updating and cleaning (who wants to sit on chairs that are covered in stains?). Curtains are hanging off and the net curtains have to be seen to be believed. Breakfast food was ok, but again service was awful. The only thing in its favour was the location, right in the centre of Beverley and it offered parking which was a bonus. Not a cheap hotel, so I was perhaps expecting a little more than I actually got. On the whole, very disappointing." - Anonymous

The C18th Beverley Arms Hotel, a Brook Hotel, is close proximity to the medieval town centre of Beverley and inside the ancient gateway. This former coach house retains all its charm through its traditional furnishings and its historic York flagstones. The Beverley Arms offers the same hospitality and warmth as its predecessors but with all the comfort and charm of a 21st century hotel. A Well located, property with excellent transport links to Hull, Doncaster and Sheffield.
Relax with good food and wine in comfortable surroundings that once had connections with the highwayman Dick Turpin. This hotel is full of character, and offers the most pleasant of stays.

Turn off at Junc 38 onto B1230 (Beverley). Follow the road for approx 10 miles, then at the mini roundabout take the 1st exit to Beverley town centre. At the first set of traffic lights, hold left. The hotel is after 100 yards on the left hand side, opposite St Mary's Church. |
