"A good clean hotel in the middle of the markets and shopping areas" - Malcolm Rose
"I think this place is about the least appealing accommodation that I have endured since I was a hippie, traveling in SE Asia, 35 years ago. We thought that we had reserved a suite but when we arrived it was a Jr, suite, very dank and dark. After a spirited conversation with the front desk they said that they would upgrade me for a thousand Baht/night ($27.33). After another polite but pointed discussion with the manager and dropping the name of the "pal" who recommended the hole, I mean hotel, he was willing to upgrade me for another 500 baht per night. The suite was relatively nice, but noisy in the evenings when they had theme dinners around the pool with Indian music. Many folks from India in the house on package tours.
This is the sort of place where maintainance has been consistently deferred. It seriously needs a fresh coat of paint, inside and out. " - Anonymous
"The hotel rooms were good and were clean as well. The facilities are little above average. The best part about this hotel is the location. All the major attractions like the walking street and the beach are at walkable distance. The beach is like 10 mins walk frm the hotel and walking street is hardly 5 mins away. The rooms were stinking a little wen we chequed in but after sometime it was ok. The bar is good and the restaurant is nice specially for the Indians. Overall I would rate my stay at the hotel as above average." - Anonymous
