We are 1 bedroom Serviced Apartments located in the heart of tranquil tree-lined historic East Melbourne with personalised and professional management. Our one bedroom apartments have a queen size bed in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the lounge room. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with microwave & hotplates. TV with Foxtel and DVD player. The cost is based on 2 people per night, however our apartments sleep up to 4 people, therefore an extra person is the cost of $25.00 per day which is payable on arrival. Wireless internet is available in your apartment. Secure car-parking $10.00 per car per night. Complimentary BBQ Facilities. Communal Guest laundry $4.00 per cycle. Getting there:You can take a taxi from the airport which will take approximately 25 minutes and cost approximately $70. You can also take the Skybus which leaves every half hour from the Qantas terminal and they will drop you on Birches on request. Cost is $15 each way
Check-in Procedure:Check in time is 2.00pm. We certainly aim to get you in earlier if we can but it depends on how busy we are on the day. You can make an early request. Our reception time is as follows: Monday-Friday 7.30am-7.00pm Saturday 8.00am-4.00pm Sunday 8.30am - 4.00pm If arriving after office hours IT IS IMPORTANT that you contact reception so we can provided you with key and code instructions.

Birches is good value and well situated for families and business travellers alike. It is not 5 star, but it doesn't purport to be. Our apartment was clean and functional. Some of the fittings could do with an update, but everything worked. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, and the onsite parking at $10 per day was reasonable. It is within a 10 minute walk of the MCG and Tennis Centre. There are a number of cute cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and tramlines are also close by.

We found it to be are great location for our short stay in Melbourne. Close to city and major attraction of Melbourne.

Clean nice quiet hotel with kitchen which is rare to find in CBD. Secure parking but not for free. Great location with walking distance to City. We will come back.
Excellent value, and th staff are very courteous and welcoming. Very accessible and parking really secure. The only drawback is the traffic noise in the corner rooms, but this is beyond control and is rectified iif doubke windows are closed. Thanks

Very central location. Property well presented. I did report required maintenance due to a plumbing fault in the Bathroom Ensuite.

A nice little apartment which suited our needs fine. A great area to stay in, there's a lovely park just across the road. It's close to a tram stop and a ride to the CBD is quick. Would stay here again.
Jenny, the manager, is so lovely and very helpful. The apartment was fantastic and altogether it was a delight to stay at Birches Serviced Apartments.
