having seen the hotel from the outside and the reception, i was hoping the bedrooms would match. a little tired looking, and in need of some modernisation. but would still recommend the hotel
We would stay at the hotel again, the room was "Well used" The wallpaper needed to be redoing. The pigeons outside the windows were making a big mess, could'nt open the window , they tried to get in. The beds were very comfortable, the room quiet and functional. Breakfast was plentyfull, good choice of food. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. A very short walk to Hyde park and the local underground station. As a base for visiting London, 10 X 10
Morning shift much more helpful than night shift. Bathroom quite basic but clean. Excellent value for money.
A little rundown, but clean. It was adequate as we were only there on an overnight stay.
Hotel is in a good location, 5minute from Bayswater tube station. There are plenty of restaurants and a few pubs nearby. The hotel itself, whilst clean, could do with an upgrade on its furniture. The room we had was quite small, rather like a 1950's seaside boarding house, with a wash basin in the main part of the room.Mind you I have been in other London hotel rooms that have been just as small. Con.breakfast is passable, but there is a cooked breakfast available for an extra charge. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were two mature couples, who enjoyedbeing able to have a drink in a pleasant bar after a days sightseeing.
Well run and was a very enjoyable place to stay..I'd recommend it to anyone.Very VERY good location, just great service and was well kept.
Clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. Certainly lived up to its 3*+ rating
double room was actually a single room with a double bed squeezed into it. shower wasn''t a shower it was a sprinkle !
Stayed 1 day in a single room ensuite at 30 pounds a night, excluding breakfast. Great deal. The room was not as cramped as I had expected. Bathroom is clean. Sink is inside the bedroom, which is okay, because it frees up space in the bathroom. Hotel location is good - about 5 minutes'' walk to Bayswater Tube Station. Numerous shops and restaurants nearby. Room 510 is just opposite the elevator, which makes it slightly noisy at night. Otherwise, not bad at all.
rooms can be noisy and mattresses are extremely uncomfortable. ok choice for a stopover in london. low price is probably the best thing about it (1 night single 30 GBP!).
Excellent choice for value and location.
Room in the street area noisy
Great hotel! Friendly and helpful staff. Room style a bit older but very cozy. I was traveling alone and I felt very comfortable and safe. Rooms on the street side are a bit noisy especially when windows are open. Overall, very nice and will stay again. Quick walk to the tube and stores. Fanstastic shopping mall nearby. Wonderful experience - looking forward to next time!
Very nice hotel, rooms can be spartan but comfortable. Good stay for those on a mid-range budget.
Beautiful reception area and clean.
Nice place, good value.
Single room was a reasonable size. Very clean and comfortable, excellent staff. Very good value for the price, and would stay there again.
This is an excellent hotel to stay in. Good food, easy access to central London and entertainment. Within a short walk is Hyde Park. Hotel is great.
Excellent value for money. Close to major attractions and tube station.
Lovely location, nice hotel and friendly staff.
