for just over 50Euro we got a massive one bedroom suite. Cant be beaten on price. The Thalassa Spa provided by the Hotel has also incredibly low prices for this category of service. The minuses: breakfast just average (in taste and choices), swimming pool quite smallish

Stayed in Premium 1 bed suite Nov 10, ( free upgrade, booked deluxe ) 70m2, 2 x TV's, DVD system in lounge, comfortable king bed, full kitchen, great location, minutes easy stroll to sky train (chit lom) top quality Spa on 5th floor, good rates, excellent, profesional service. Very nice restaurant for lunch in lobby, Artur's. Free in room WiFi, that works, would definitely return.

Close to sky train and shopping malls. Always stays here when I am in BKK.

Overall I was very satisfied with this serviced apartment, especially considering the price (2300Bt for a 56sqm suite incl. breakfast). Two large rooms with fully equiped kitchen, a good and large bed, separate aircon in bedroom and living room, in-room safe, a large fridge and two TVs. Location is also excellent, close to Skytrain and Central department store.

hotel is very close to shopping centers, and located in the main city of Bangkok. Staff are very polite at the hotel. rooms are very spacious. inhouse resturant is a bit expensive.

Great location close to BTS and Central Chidlom Department Store. A little dated but still very good. Huge rooms - great if you want a bit of space.

Quality room located five minutes walk from Chitlom subway station and Central Mall. Small issues with blinds not blocking morning light very well (use eye shades), air conditioning making one side of the bed cold as it is next to it (use the blanket), but overall good. I have stayed here twice and will return.

I stayed at this hotel twice. The first time I was a little disappointed with the service because they put me in a room close to rooms they are refurbishing which makes a lot of banging noise during the day. On my second stop I ask the receptionist to put me in a better room, and she upgraded me which makes a lot of difference. Great hotel, best price for a 4-5 star, has one of the best location (2 min from Chit Lom BTS and Central Chidlom Shopping Ctr) in the city and is the middle of a quiet park area. Will definitely stay there again.

everything is ok, except the smell of the building. once you get on the guest room floors, there is a weired smell in the hallway and in the room. Very strong. Also, the air con is so loud! Location is good, but since it's one way street, if you want to go somewhere east of the hotel, you will have to take a very long way south, then east, then north again. There is no roads in between will connect from west to east. Some city planning!

Being sited in a side street provided a very quiet environment and yet the hotel is in a central location.

Excellent, as close to the Paragon as your going to get. Minor renovations while we were there, but not enough to be a problem. First class.

more than just a hotel...its like coming home

The location is excellent and staff friendly along with very helpful. 5min walk to skytrain is great. Very quiet location. Will stay at the Somerset Suwan again.

On arrival the room I had booked was very smelly so they upgraded me to a larger one bedroom apartment on the 19th floor with great views, this room was great no smells either. Staff very helpful and in a very central position next to Chit Lom train station.

I like this hotel because of the location. It's near everything you need. We stayed here for two times. I feel that the hotel need to improve valet parking, bell boy and door man services. Many times the door left unattend and people had problem loading their baggages, esp people who drive their car alone. I had to drive around the round about few times as there's other car behind me !!! Other than that it's fine.

Very spacious apartment, with close easy access to sky train (Chitlom) and Central dept store. -very convenient for both business and pleasure. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Easy walk to skytrain at Central.

Breakfast is very boring, below average quality and never changes. Skip the breakfast. Rooms although of nice size, tend to be dark. No separate shower stall, just a tub with hand held showerhead. Service is just ok. Very convenient and pricing was excellent via RTG booking site. Aircon units tend to be noisy both with fan in rooms and the compressor units on the balconies.
