Blue Marine Resort & Spa Phuket

I stayed in Blue Marine for a night last week out of the 5D4N trip in Phuket with my husband. We booked a Seaview Honeymoon Suite. The room and its seaview are impeccable; the buffet breakfast is up to standard too. The public pool facing the Patong Beach is tempting you to spend some time around for photos even if you do not swim. The only thing to say is that as the rooms are mostly on the cliff, you will have to take the hotel free shuttle bus every time when you want to go out, fortunately it is 24 hour though. In short, it is at a very silent location and I would recommend this if you are looking for a getaway out of the modern city.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. One problem was a transportation. I was told that there is a free shuttle service to the core of Patong, but there is only one shuttle service a day.

location is rated as good because we have also rented a car, otherwise it could only be average, also, the hilly architectural layout with uncovered stairs connecting various facilities and guest rooms created some inconvenience, especially during raining periods. Nevertheless, the overall rating is between good and very good.

Please be careful when booking the Grand Seaview Deluxe room. The only difference is a day bed which, lets face it, is nothing special however the cost is quite considerable. I booked the GSD room but the view was very ordinary from the bottom floor so ended up moving to a Seaview Deluxe room on the top floor and the view was 100% better. Sadly however they did not offer me the cheaper rate for this so was quite annoyed with this fact! Definitely try for a room on the top floor if you want a great view, which was why I picked the hotel in the first place. The hotel itself is perfect if you want to be out of the action a bit however if you don't like stairs, it is not the place for you! Pool area is nice and quiet, not many people around so no fighting over deck chairs which is extemely appealing. Overall I would stay there again but only if I was guaranteed a room on the top floor.

Beautiful views from pool over Andaman Sea. A steep walk up from the Beach but reception gives you a lift to your room in a golf buggy. Suitable for adults but landscaping and steep drops from the pool mean you should avoid taking small children. And avoid the germans who lay their towels out on the deckchairs at sunrise!!!

The hotel located in a very continent, yet scenic hillside looking down the Andaman Ocean. The room is clean and well furnished in Thai resort style. The staff members are very finely and hospitable. The room rate is less than those of international resort hotel chains. Maybe need a bit of effort to improve the food.

This was a lovely hotel to stay in, the pool areas were fantastic with brilliant views. Although the hotel is not ideal location there is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel.

the hotel was beautiful, but the problem was with the service.. the reception staff were very rude and didn't speak any English. Breakfast was very poor in quality compared to the price of the rooms. the rooms were spacious and the view very beautiful.

Great place to relax and enjoy for 2 people. A bit to far from town.

Very new hotel so some facilities are still under construction. But definitely compensated with wonderful seaview on balcony, from the bed as well as bathtub! So u can watch the sunset frm comfort of own room in privacy.......... To add wonderful seaview from the swimming pools as well. Also within walking distance to a fantastic restuarant - BAAN RIM PA for a romantic sunset cocktail and dinner. One must try is their very delicious dessert - sticky rice with mango which simply melts in the mouth!
