good value for money

I recently stayed at the G'day Motel for a night whilst I visited family in Katoomba. The G'day Motel was very well situated, close to the cafes and shops of Katoomba and Leura. I also found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable and also quiet. Thank you to the G'day Hotel

the room is a bit small

This motel is situated between the railway and The Pacific Highway. The hotel is probably insulated, the noise was not too bad. The room is big enough. In the building is no restaurant but a good restaurant is opposite the Highway and you can go to Katoomba, 5 minutes by car away. Our opion the motel is value for money.

For they money we paid we thought it was a good deal!

very friendly staff, clean place. The was very noisy...and the air conditioning was very noisy and old. It was a bit of a walk away from the main drag. Else, fantastic.

The beds were very soft and the room was dated, it felt like being in the 1950's.

basic but cheap and functional

My friend and are were there for a mediation weekend and we found the location to several areas amazingly close, was ideal for us due to a short stay of overnight, the room was tiny but clean and had what we needed for a short stay but would not stay here for a romantic weekend or even a longer stay, service was friendly and helpful, traffic noise was extremly loud though but overall pleasant stay

For what you pay this motel it is fine. The location is its downfall - highway at the front, train line at the back. However, if you want a cheap, clean, no frills base and you aren't a light sleeper (the road is noisy) then its just fine.

Great cheap hotel. Rooms quite old and small. Very noisy, in between highway and railway line. If you just need a bed for the night and are not spening to much time in your room then it fine.

Very noisy as the hotel is wedged immediately betwween the Railway on one side and the busy Highway on the other!

Our experience as a family was a very enjoyable one. I found that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit out of Katoomba between the railway and the main highway, so trucks and trains made a good deal of noise, as they do everywhere. It is too far to walk to Katoomba and it is a busy highway, so you cannot walk and must have a car. In Katoomba itself, parking near the attractions is charged and we thought it expensive. The rooms are OK but showing a bit of wear. Staff very good and helpful. The restaurant only serves breakfast, but it was excellent! Very wet and cold weather when we stayed there and, like some other motels, the heating works very hard to make it comfortable. Typically, the day we left was warm and sunny and the hotel looked much better in the sun! For us, 3 adults with a car, it worked fine and we had no problems.

Good value for money.

very clean very comfortable budget priced hotel with basic facilities which make it ideal for a short stay.I will definatly choose this facility when in the area again.
