At Katoomba turn left over Railway Bridge, left again at roundabout at other side of bridge and travel 200 metres to next roundabout outside Raiulway Station, turn right down Katoomba Street, Blue Mountains Heritage Motel is at the bottom of Katoomba Street on the left hand corner of the first cross Street (Waratah Street) adjacent to Katoomba Town Centre Motel. Reception is in the courtyard and serves both Blue Mountains Heritage Motel and Katoomba Town Centre Motel.

value for money-got it in last minute deals. Buffet breakfast was good. Room was spacious. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.
Room was very small but comfortable. The location right in the middle of Katoomba is great. Aussie breakfasts are really good and priced right.

The room was what is to be expected of a motel. However the walls were very thin and everything in the room next door was able to be heard in our room. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The motel was nice for an overnight stay would have prferred a room with balcont for smoking, carpark is very cramped - lack of caring once full for all pattrons spaces.

For a 3.5 star family suite, we were very surprised to find more than just a room. Instead we opened the door to a studio style 2 bedroom accommodation with a television in both rooms including a DVD player in the main. There was also a small kitchenette with dining table and microwave and the small bathroom had a shower, vanity and toilet. The kids loved the games room and reception had plenty of change on hand for the games machines. The pool tables were out of order but we didn't mind. There is also a small playground with a swing for the little ones. Our buffet breakfast was delicious and staff always had the buffet full of hot food. A negative would have to be the creaky floorboards but with an old house conversion you have to expect that. Overall it was worth the stay.

The whole experience was excellent .From checking in, to the comfy and warm beds ,to the extensive breaky variety and the helpful visitor guide service. I would have no hesitation reccommending this motel to families,with only a short walk to cafes etc...

basic facilities - crazy breakfast waiter - but excellent location and worth it if you just need a base
Most of the facilities were rundown and aged. The games room (so looked forward to by my children), was a horrible throw back from the 1980's. Externally the hotel looked like a rundown shack, with my wife quite appalled as to what I had selected for our stay. We won't be back.
While I dislike putting down hotels I have to say that our room (20) was terrible! no views and adjacent to the laundry / kitchen. Noise from the laundry in the early hours was audable. There is a gate outside the room dividing those facilities from the general area. Staff tend to congregate in the day and talk loudly clearly audable in the room. It is not just the kitchen staff early, but contractors and management and family as well. The sheets are too small for the bed, and the blue indicator light on the TV is too bright in the darkness when trying to sleep. Breakfast was good, location conveniant as we didnt have a car. I can not comment on the other rooms they may have been fine. Sorry but that's how we saw it.

The front desk was helpful and conveniently located along the main street of Katoomba. Close to scenic spots such as the three sisters and the scenic ride. In compare with the facilities provided which is a bit old, the price was a bit on the high side. However, I do like the "vintage" look of the corridor, the lamp shades, so on.
