"The hotel is in a lovely natural setting not that far from the train station - its walkable. The rooms are very pleasant." - Shane McWhinney
"John who owns the Blue Hideaway is fantastic. He made our family stay very warm and welcome. The Blue Hideaway is definitely a place to go to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Excellent time for R&R." - Billy Spowart
"It was a lovely anniversary getaway and this place is a real gem! The service was excellent, very friendly indeed, and very helpful with recommendations. The pool is a bonus at the end of an active day. The lovely buffet breakfast brings back fond memories of our European travels. The surrounding is very relaxing, you can be in the middle of the thick bush in less than a minute or just gaze at the beautiful valley and listen to the birds. The shops are a walk away, but the point is to get away from the hustle and bustle, right? I highly recommend this place and I'm sure we will be back again." - Monica Myers
"We were surprised that this hotel is not well known - the facilities are excellent value for the price and the hotel is situated amidst virgin bush country with lovely views. Rooms were well appointed and although the hotel is not in the centre of Katoomba. it is only a 5 minute drive away. There are a couple of restaurants within a 20 minute walk (2 minutes by car)." - Anonymous
