Boathouse Tea Gardens Port Stephens

Absolutely loved it.The hotel was in such a good location,walking distance to everywhere. The hotel staff were all so friendly and couldnt do enough to help us. The room was so clean,and having your own clothes dryer and washing machine really helped as I was able to keep the washing up to date while we were away. Will definately stay here again

Great but, what would really be helpfull is a list of things for people to to bring with them. ie mosquito repellent. Beach towels etc also a pack of dish washing liquid/powder could be sold in packs of 5 to make life a bit easier for those who stay for short breaks.

Well located, a place to relate and just enjoy the location.

1. aircon did not work so that it was cooling, only on the fan, and it was an extremely hot night. 2. In the 2nd bedroom there were bull ants around the perimeter of the room. 3. The spa bath in the main bedroom ensuite was filthy. The jets looked like they had not been scrubbed for weeks. 4. The toilet seeped water around the base of the plinth in the main bedroom ensuite. 5. The washing machine which we did not use was also seeping water which made the 2nd bathroom wet on the floor always. 6. The deck chairs were threadbare 7. The lack of cleaning aids ie washing up detergent ie only 1 sachet in the cupboard. 8. The pool was very unkept and dirty and the chairs were also in a poor state of repair.

Spiders web everywhere on the balcony, probably never removed from months and months... got several corcroaches in the appartement, when you are paying $240 a night, that's very impressive!! Dishes and kitchen tools were not clean and glasses were filthy, I was impressed with that too. The lift was smelling the dog or the fish... we mentioned it to the building manager and half an hour later it was cleaned and smelt good... Except all these things that you would not expect from this range of appartmen and the price we paid for it, would have been perfect. A lot to improve on the cleaning side.

The Manager and staff were very helpful. The facilities were excellent. We look forward to a return visit.

It is a fantastic place for kids, very relaxing.

There are enough hot water for 4 showers ! for 4 of us in the room. The last 2 have to use the hot water left on the bath tube !!!!!

The unit was very comfortable with excellent inclusions. The sunrises were simply magnificent.

Beautiful modern 2bed unit on gr flr with access to pool. Facing estuary & close to restaurants.

Quiet location, walking distance to local restaurants & cafes, u can go fishing across the road i would go back again.

We were very pleased with the room, It was very clean and had everything that you would need with a family. The spa bath was out of this world and we couldn't get our boys out of the pool. We only wished we could have stayed longer. 10/10

Stunning apartment, great service, beautiful location, excellent facilities in and out of apartment itself however didn't utilise the gym, etc. We all wished we could move in. If return to Tea Gardens will definitely stay there again.

Overall we enjoyed staying in Oaks Boathouse Tea Gardens. We strongly recommend this serviced apartment to our friends. It is very clean and the kitchen facilities are very good. Insufficient dishwashing and washing powder provided though.

Very spacious and well-appointed apartments. Well maintained property. Admin staff friendly. Surroundings were interesting, really enjoyed the loaction by the river with easy access to good restaurants and availability of local seafood. Ideally recommended for a quiet relaxing get away. Thanks

Still very happy - being a 2nd time visitor. Like the idea of having two separate tvs, kids and adults are able to watch their own movies at the same time in different rooms.
