Getting there:
From Harbour Bridge continue 3 KM take Whakatane lane to overbridge, continue 1Km to large Shopping Mall, turn left into Girven Rd, continue 750 Mts to Maranui St on right, continue to Boatshed Apartments are approx 300 mts on the left in Maranui St. From Rotorua First Shopping Mall turn right into Girven Rd. 1 kilometre from Bay Fair Shopping Mall. 1-2 minutes walk to beach and shops. 3 kilometres from Airport.

overall, our stay was dissapointing. on arrival we were not told anything at all about the apartments, so didn't know there was a spa or if any other facilities were even available - washing machine?etc. we only got one day of our breakfastsand we stayed 2 nights. with our booking we requested a cot and this wasn't ready on arrival, although when they saw we had a baby with us this was fixed. we kind of got the impresson the management considered us a bother rather than paying customers. This is a shame as we won't be considering returning anytime soon.

Although this motel is about 3km from Main area of Mount Manganui beach access is just behind the motel. There is also a local food store, takeaway and italian restaurant nearby and the proprietors are extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice sea and rural views from the penthouse. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice setting but a lot of road noise from passing traffic.
