Bodega Hotel Hanoi

Bodega Hotel...good value.

I would like to thank all staff at the hotel for an amazing few days there. Everyone was outstanding - kindest people ever!

Not bad for a small hotel and the most memorable to me is its staffs, they are so friendly, helpfull and beleivable as well

This hotel is overrated. Should be a 2 star hotel. Hotel doesn't have an elevator or heat. First room had a gap on top of and several cracks on the room door. The cold, noise and cigarette smoke from lobby comes through the door. No bath tub or hair dryer in the room as advertised. After complaining and spending 1 night in that room, they changed our room. In the new room, 1 of the window glass was missing. They just taped a trash bag with tape over it. The cold still came inside the room, it was very cold. I catched a cold because of the cold. This batroom did have a tub, but no shower curtain. Despite of the very good service in this hotel, this hotel is not recommended when you are travelling with kids. This is a budget hotel for students/young people, not looking for comfort.

The facilities were basic, the service was excellent, the location was excellent. I will definitely recommend it to any budget traveller as it is quite close to alot of places of interest for a tourist.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bodega Hotel. All the staff is friendly and the price is very reasonable including breakfast. I really recommend this hotel.

So great and fortunately when I have the good chances to travel and went shopping in Ha Noi's Old quarter and especially, the tours they organized for me was so great, its price is much cheaper than other travel agent in Ha Noi. Highly recommend this to everyone

great little hotel for the budget conscious. Very accomodating when our schedule changed

Most of all I appreciated the very friendly and always very helpful, uncomplicated and efficient staff. They made my stay very convenient.

--i highly recommended it -- very good money value *very helpfull and very friendly staff. *english is well understood and spoken (a relief!!). *huge and spacious suit like rooms with sleeping (2 double beds) and separate living areas just like the photos (superior room) with huge couch, coffeetable, vanity table and stocked minibar and complimentary basket of fruit. *very nice matresses and linen changed everyday. *toillet with tub and complimentary toilletries. *nice and central location: surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants and nearby supermarket (and only a 5 min stroll to old city lake area). *free internet in room and hotel computers. *free arrival pick-up. *complimentary breakfast: bread, jam, butter, milk/coffee/tea, eggs and fruit of the day or noodle soup (simple but nice) *sightseeing tours booking. --in spite of being a 2 star hotel it has the best price/quality relation when compared to all (3 and 4 star hotels) i stayed in vietnam --

The staff at Bodega hotel are very friendly and helpful, although their English skills are sometimes lacking... There's a "family feel" about the place which I found very pleasant compared to anonymous hotels you find everywhere. On the downside, anyone interested in this hotel should know that rooms going for the same rate can be very different one from another : bathroom with or without bathtub, room with or without sitting area, with or without functional TV, with or without window... Some rooms are therefore excellent and others just ok (I was staying with a group which allowed me to see 5 different rooms of same value). On the whole, Bodega hotel was perfect for what I was looking for : clean, safe, well situated, correct price.

The staff were very helpful even finding us a place to buy Vietnamese coffee. The location is excellent for looking around town.

Good location, friendly staff, they offer other tourist services. Ha Long bay tour OK, train ticket reservations OK, but they recomended an unrelyable bus company for Hue-Hoi An, this you better do yourself.

I am very impressed with the type of personal service, given by BodegaHotel staff, from the Hotel Manager to the house boys, that usually only 5-star-rated hotels would provide. The Hotel is very-centrally located in Hanoi's shopping area (in Hanoi's Old Quarter), within walking distance to most old shopping and food streets. The Hotel is equipped with internet wifi access, and offers FREE emailing and web-surfing facilities. I am very happy that I had chosen to stay at BodegaHotel the very first visit of mine and my wife to Hanoi as budget travellers. In fact we will be booking to stay at this BodegaHotel when we return to Hanoi after our Sapa tour and visit to SomSon Resort in the following week.

We had a great time there. We only stayed two nights but everything was fantastic. The entire staff went out of their way if you needed anything. If we go back we'll definately stay there again. I would totally recommend this to anyone.
