Bolivar Hotel Rome

Excellent location in the heart of historic Rome center. Very friendly and helpful stuff. We stayed for 1 week and will stay next time we are in Rome. We will recommend the hotel and the restaurant by the hotel to our friends.

A hotel with parking facilities, but needs better housekeeping and general rennovation.

The Bolivar Hotel can surely be recommended. All the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the room was nice and quiet containing all we needed. The location is brilliant with all major places too see in Rome within walking distance. We have all ready decided to come back to this hotel again next year.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The room we had was quite cramped but it was extremely clean. The staff were very helpful and efficient.

the staff are less than helpful, sometimes they made me wonder if words "customer service" actually exist in Italian. The breakfast is not worth it - better to go someplace nicer. The location is superb, though.

This hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of the Trevi Fountian, Spanish Steps, Coluseum and Roman Forum. Bars / Restaurants nearby can be a bit pricey and would therefore recommend a short taxi ride [ordered from hotel reception] costing 8 Euros to Trastevere, where good restaurants / bars are plentiful and reasonably priced. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with great air con, whilst the staff were very friendly and would do anything to help. I would definatley stay at this hotel again when returning to Rome.

Nice and quiet room , Staff in reception were kind - waitress in the breakfast room obviously didn't like the customers and her job. Do not ask for a recommended restaurant at the reception. The restaurant "Marios" had prices too high compared to the prices. Really a disappointment compared to the restaurants we visited.

We found it a lovely little hotel tucked in a side street away from traffic noise.The location is ideal for site seeing especially Historic Rome.The room was a good size and clean.

I took my 'never-toured Italy family' to Rome & stayed at the Bolivar. We were literally around the corner from the Roman Forum/Colosseum, Quirnale, shopping on Via Nazionale! While you'll end up walking the entire city--this cuts down on A LOT! The hotel was quaint, attendants were very helpful. We had a quadruple room which equated to 4 single beds lined up in a row in a room big enough for a single/double. But fairly comfortable all around. The bkft buffet was on the rooftop in a glassed room that looks out over the city. I highly recommend staying there if you want a comfortable stay, with a nothing-better- location for this price.

A very centrally situated hotel with a fiendly and serviceminded staff. Lovely breakfast room. OK prices.
