Bologna Hotel Pisa

Overall, excellent. Would definately recommend this hotel. Excellent value for the money. Parking was onsite and cheap (10 euros). Breakfast was great and they had a great evening selection of local breads, cheezes, prepared meats, fruits, etc.

Excellent staff, nice room, perfect location. We were a 10-minute walk from the leaning tower, 5 minutes from the train station, and 30 seconds from some great restaurants. And the staff helped us find them all. We left at 5 in the morning to get to the airport, and they called a taxi for us (shuttle not available that early - FYI) and packed us breakfast to go.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was perfect. Lovely room, close to trains although a bit of a walk to the Tower. Their breakfast which we had included was fantastic. Quiet location with nice restaurants nearby. Faultless.

Very helpful staff, a clean comfortable room, lovely breakfast and good location made Hotel Bologna a great place to stay in Pisa. The courtesy bus to the station was appreciated.

We had a lovely room at a bargain price. The room and public areas were immaculate. The full breakfast that was included in the price was outstanding. Computer usage in the lobby was free. Staff was friendly and service was great. The location, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the leaning tower, was convenient and quiet. We had a lovely meal at a pizzeria (that served lots more than pizza), right across from the hotel. We will definitely be back!

Good in every aspect, clean, helpful staff, nice breakfast. Just one negative point, the free and fast internet Wifi was great but the signal was too low in our rooms (219 and 220) to browse, and I had to sign up from the corridor near the elevators. If it bothers you: bathrooms are very small. Next time I'm in Pise I'll stay there again.

Top hotel and top location, but beyond that the city of Pisa has to do something about the dirty streets and all the pigeons.

Cosy place not too big. Staff very helpful, spoke english really well! rooms very clean, cleaning staff were most helpful and did a great job. Easy reach for all you need in Pisa and help if you need it.

It was a very pleasant surprise to get such a high quality 4 star in Europe for the price. It had house slippers, which is usually only offered in 5 star properties (just one example). No complaints about anything at all.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous with its brick vaulted ceilings and frescoed walls. It is really clean throughout, beautiful breakfast room and stylish communal areas. It offers everything you could need for a stay in Pisa, as its location is half way between the station and main shopping streets. There are secure, off road parking facilities, good quality breakfast and a sun terrace which is laid out with potted flowers. Perfect place to stay, with the only gripe being that the natural wood flooring throughout means you don’t need an alarm clock to know when it is breakfast time, as you can clearly hear people passing in the corridor, and slightly hear them from above. This hotel is clearly well maintained, well thought out, and I strongly recommend it and will always use it as a gateway to Tuscany.

Hotel very well placed a short walk from station and leaning tower.

This hotel was placed in the heart of the city, yet away from all the noise. Breakfast was good and the staff were very attentive. I loved it for all the right reasons, it was clean with private (cheap) parking and they went out of their way to ensure you had a good stay.

wouldnt hesitate to recommend or rebook the bologna if we were to go to pisa again. excellent location, decor, breakfast, efficient and friendly staff and above all very very clean. great for business or pleasure.

A gem of a hotel , modern , great facilities including an out door patio terrace , bike hire . Room was excellent and quiet , staff very efficient and welcoming - 20 mins walk to leaning tower and some great restaurants very near by - a definate must if staying in Pisa

Very nice, quite and clean hotel located in an excellent spot in Pisa. Also, although they were very short of staff, the staff on duty during my stay were very helpful and had a very positive attitude. The owner of the hotel should thank his staff for keeping Bologna Hotel a 4 star hotel and maybe consider to run the hotel with more staff to increase service efficiency, which in my case was not acceptable but always due to lack of staff!!
