Hotel description:    The Qualmark rated five star Bolton Hotel opened in 2005 and is a modern and luxurious property, ideally situated in the heart of central Wellington. The Bolton is located next to the historic Bolton Memorial Park which is part of the lush surrounds of the Botanical Gardens. The hotel also has the Wellington central business district quite literally at its doorstep with Parliament and Government buildings minutes walk away. The cities main shopping area, Lambton Quay is five minutes walk away and the entertainment district is a short taxi ride away.

Getting there: The Bolton Hotel is situated on Bolton Street which is just off The Terrace at the Northern (Parliament) end. To get to Terrace from the airport follow State Highway 1 to Vivian Street and turn off onto the sothern end of The Terrace instead of continuing onto the Wellington Urban Motorway. When coming from the North follow the Wellington Urban Motorway to the Terrace exit.
Car parking: Valet Parking is available at a charge of $20 per night. To ensure a space please phone the hotel in advance.
