Bond Place Hotel Toronto Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

I was staying in Business Queen room for two days. Accord to Room description, Business Queen room equip with Free wifi, you may ask for access code at the front desk. The hotel is re-decorated , Its clean and trendy but there is a lighting problem that no night light at all. Moreover, Two luggages at most in this room. Its located just nearby Dundas Metro, within 5 min walk. and Eaton Shopping mall with all you would like to buy in Toronto, eg : Gap / American Eagle/ Sephora.

This hotel wins points on its location, opening a few steps from Dundas Square. Very close to huge malls, lots of restaurants, movie theater, Dundas station. Church/Wellesley LGBT area, Downtown, Art Gallery of Toronto, etc are also all walkable (slightly longer walk - 20 mins) and accessible by short bus/train rides. Busy location, as a woman, felt safe walking around at night on my own. Irritating that you have to pay for wifi access in rooms, but they keep two computers available near the lobby free for guests to use. Basic amenities. Staff are friendly.

The renovations have improved guest accommodations considerably. The location is exceedingly convenient. We enjoyed friendly service from Kyle & housekeeping was of top quality and very accommodating. it would be desirable to have a second chair available in each room.

Near the subway and the mall. Only needs an hour and half from the international airport to there. Needs to pay for the internet, but can share with roommate.

A little over priced for a nicely redone room in an older hotel. Good location in downtown Toronto. Twin beds fill a small room, leaving little unused space. Parking is marginal.

I was looking for a great hotel in Toronto for a few weeks and ended up staying at Bond Place Hotel. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of Toronto. It's located right across the street from the subway and the mall and around the corner from Toronto's Times Sq. The rooms were on the small side but we were out and about so it didn't matter. I would go back again and would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The only complaint was that the bed seemed smaller than it was listed as and that the bottom sheet on it (flat) kept coming off through the night. Why do hotels use flat bottom sheets? The same thing happens every time! Do not like the sliding door for a bathroom door. Not much privacy and noise buffer. Maybe a different style of one would solve this problem. Otherwise, no complaints... Will use the hotel again.

Location is very good. Close to everything. Staff friendly. Rooms look clean, but beds had hair(s) on it and we asked to change our room, they were kind enough to change it. But the next room had also human hairs on it and bedsheets had black spots on it (looked like mold to me) also the bed cover had blood-like stains on it and looked really disgusting. But the toilet was really clean and had enough amenities. Also the bed and bedsheets!

The hotel is very reasonable; but don't expect something special. Disadvantage is that WiFi costs $10 per day.

Good budget-priced choice with excellent location. Rooms are small but clean. No safe in room. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff still learning systems and not very helpful with advice on transit etc. Limited renovations still on-going. Location over-comes any shortcomings.
