This hotel has good location and good pricing for the area (District 1). Recommended by Lonely Planet Guide and deserves this rating. Our room had no outlook as the construction work next door will cover over the window (it was sealed off with plywood while we were there). This may prove to be a negative if you want a room with a view - it felt very 'closed in' for us for the two nights we were there. Otherwise, good value and helpful staff make this a venue worth considering.

a relatively inexpensive hotel in a central location, which is all that i wanted. i had a room overlooking the street and was very pleased with it. the facilities were fine, the water was hot, the room was spotless, breakfast was fine. would recommend to anyone not expecting the sort of facilities and pampering you get in a 4-5* hotel

An enjoyable stay from the very beginning. We arrived 11:30 pm Christmas Eve and were pleased to be greeted by name as expected guests. Breakfast buffet is excellent, in a pleasant top floor dining room with outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location within walking distance of museums, restaurants.
It was an enjoyable 3 nights stay as the hotel was right smack in the middle of district 1. Q Bar, french bakery and vietnamese restaurants were just a stone's throw away. The hotel room was clean, and well refurnished-felt almost like a 3.5 star hotel! The stay included breakfast which exceeded standards. I would most certainly recommend this hotel! Thumbs up!
Bong Sen 2 Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City is a practical place to stay. The rooms are small, but extremely clean and well kept. The price is very good, and the locatios is excellent - centrally located and in walking distance of many key places in Ho Chi Minh City. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Don't expect to bring any guests home from a night out, because the rules are no guests after 10pm and they enforce these rules. The security was very tight in the hotel.
