The Bonham is regarded as one of the finest hotels in Edinburgh, and was recently named as Scottish Boutique Hotel of the Year. The Bonham is one of the coolest hotels in Edinburgh, where you'll enjoy an uplifting contemporary ambiance within the classic timelessness of a Victorian town house. Situated in Edinburgh's West End, The Bonham is just a short walk from the city's many excellent shops and boutiques, the financial district and all the top sights of Edinburgh. During your stay you will be accommodated in one of our 48 individually decorated bedrooms. You may wish to enjoy one of our deluxe superior rooms, or for that ultra special stay one of our luxury suites. Experience Edinburgh's most timeless contemporary restaurant, Restaurant at the Bonham. You'll be tempted by distinct European-inspired food and enticed by provocative wines. Unusual features are revealed to you throughout the hotel including an original Edwardian copper bath in one of the superior rooms and a distinctive crimson spiral sofa-bench in reception The Bonham also houses a permanent art collection, featuring the works of approximately 30 local 'up and coming' Scottish artists. We recognise the fact that the nature of our services results in an overall impact on the environment, and that by conducting our business in a responsible and thoughtful manner, we can reduce this impact and act to improve the quality of the environment where appropriate.

This was a good quiet location, a short walk into the Centre. I didn't eat there in the evenings, but breakfasts were cetainly fine (the salmon was particularly good).

I took my Boyfriend here for a birthday treat and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are extremely attentive and will go out of their way to help you. The room was lovely, a good size and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom, while fine, is not of the size and standard you would expect of a hotel in this class. However, I would throughly recommend this hotel. It is just a 5 minute walk from Princes Street.

The Bonham is a great hotel. Very clean, very polite and friendly staff, fantastic food. A great night's sleep - far enough from the busy roads that you don't get any traffic noise, but close enough to walk to the shops/restaurants. Highly recommended.

Have stayed on a few occasions over about 5 or 6 years, nice place, great staff, good restaurant. The only "but" is that it needs to set a refurbishment programme going now, it's looking tired in the general areas.

The online rate was excellent and the hotel was well decorated and maintained. Our first room look as if it was occupied when we entered. The staff automatically upgraded us to another room with no fuss. I do think it's a bit cheeky of the hotel to ask guests to pay for extra tolietries and a cooked breakfast.

A comfortable hotel with spacious bedrooms, in a quiet and smart area but still only a few minutes from Princes Street. An ideal location for our city break.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bonham. The room was quite large with good facilities and Molton Brown toiletries. We had a lovely view of the park and street in front of the hotel. Although the Bonham is not really in the centre of things it is a short walk from the castle and is in a nice, quiet area. We will definitely be back!

Excellent hotel in good location. Particularly convenient for West end locations, which would suit business travellers, but within walking distance of all major tourist sites.
