Excellent Value.Lovely rooms.Great location.Great breakfast.Extremely helpful and friendly staff.I have stayed in Venice before but when I go again this is where I will stay providing i can get a decent rate.A few minutes from San Marco,alongside a small but quite busy canal.You can have breakfast watching the boats delivering supplies to the hotels and shops.

Very happy with the hotel services and location. The staff were lovely and made our honeymoon stay memorable with an excellent room and bottle of bubbly.

The breakfast was very good! One of the best e have had in European travels. The room was modest but not what we were led to believe from the internet web site. Still overall a very nice place to stay. We would stay there again!

Wehad trouble finding the hotel but if you get off at Rialto it is very close, best you have a map though. Our stay here was good.

This Hotel was excellent, with friendly, helpful staff who were able to respond to all our needs. The room was spotlessly clean and the aircon was lovely. The breakfast was great with plenty to chose from and something for all tastes. We were also able to leave our luggage with the hotel after checking out so that we could wander the streets easily. The hotel is lovely and peaceful, yet literally two minutes walk to Piazza San Marco, and despite some other reviews that i've read the Hotel is easy to find even in the dark, though a map is a must. Wonderful....we will be going back.

Friendly, clean and perfectly placed to see the sights of Venice.

We booked a renovated room and was given a very small room that hadn't been renovated, we were then given a superior room that hadn't been renovated at the back of the hotel with a view of the fire escape stairs and had to spend the first night in it as there were no other rooms available. We were given a standard renovated room for the remainder of our stay, which was extremely good, however, we didn't get an apology, for the inconvenience.

Very convenient location for central Venice and charming hotel. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Superb value for the location and standard of accommodation.

The Bonvecchiati Hotel is a extremely pleasant and attactive Hotel that has very beautiful rooms and a very nice menu to go with it The staff are very friendly and willing to assist in any way possible, the location is excellent and very easy to find.. i highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again next time i return to Venice

Superb location a few minutes walk between Pazza San Marco and Ponte Rialto. This hotel is in a very elegant Venetian style, very tastefully furnished and a real bargain at the [website] price. I arrived after a 5 hr bus trip from the Dolomites after taking the very crowded vaporetto (with baggage) from Piazalle Roma on a busy Saturday night. I phoned the hotel who suggested I disembark at Rialto instead of San Marco, but in the confusion, got off at the first Rialto (Mercato), instead of the second, Rialto proper, so the hotel's directions made no sense. Took more phone calls and they sent someone to meet me when I described where I was. Try and arrive in daytime in a non peak period and disembark at the (Ponte) Rialto stop and you will have no problem finding it. Perhaps the hotel should on their website have a better map of directions, as Venice can be a maze. Breakfast included was plentiful and superb.

the hotel was clean updates and had a friendly staff. The breakfast was also good and had a wide range of choices. Great location and not far from San marco and Rialto. The only negative part was that the room while having a nice view of a local canal turned out to be quite noisy in the early ghours of the morning- Garbage collection and sanitation workers, commutter boats with loud radios interrupted our sleep as early as 5 AM.

Great location, less than 5 mins walk from St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. Tastefully furnished room, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. Excellent breakfast. friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Would certainly return when next in Venice.

No cold water in first room - were moved very efficiently wothout fuss. Second room had a nasty smell from the drains. Other guests had no hot water. Clearly an issue with plumbing but the it is Venice, so no great surprise. Staff excelled themselves in addressing our problems.
