This 28 room hotel is situated close to Edinburgh, near the famous Forth rail bridge. All rooms are en-suite and have tea and coffee making equipment also have colour TVs, and are tastefully decorated, with full central heating. Edinburgh city centre is easily reached in 20 minutes by car..30mins on train.there is wireless near dalgety bay and roysth internet connection in public areas. if travelling for ediburgh airport is a public shuttle number 747 which stops at inverkeithing station only 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Getting there:By road after crossing the Forth road bridge take the first exit and follow sign for Inverkeithing, go right through Inverkeithing to railway station and turn right, and we are 400 yards on the right. By train: get off the train at Inverkeithing and come out the exit with the tracks on your left. When you get to the top of the road, turn left and we are 300 yards on the right.ther is an airport shuttle leaving Inverkeing station and it takes 20-30 ins to get to Edinburgh Airport

Good value for money
Excellent place to stay and the hosts, Cherl & Pat were most helpful. Slept like a log and a good cooked breakfast, cooked to order - will stay again. Only hic-cup was the wi-fi didn't work in my room - still was able to sit in the bar to check my emails.
Exactly it is a quiet lodge than a hotel service so I expect not so high. Price is cheap and service is limited with limited facility but free internet surfing overimaination. Poor mattress for too soft and steel ring are weak to hold my weight with 130lbs. Limited space for movement in room with all old/weak furniture placement makes us sick but it is just the charge to get the family suit in only 62 pounds. Toilet ventilation fan can't function well. Actually it is good position to airport or Edinburgh town by train in low cost and fast too.

Nice place to stay, not really anything special, a bit worn down; pricing perhaps a bit high compared to other B & B's in the area around Edinburgh. Breakfast a complete Scottish Buffet with everything.
The hotel is a bit smelly, I must say. Rooms are poorly decorated, but the beds are not that bad. Showers are not very good also. Personnel was very kind, though.
Very convenient whether one is looking for a hotel 20' from Edinburgh by train where the station is at walking distance from the lodge. If you drive a car then is quite well located for day trips. Price is reasonable for UK's rates & standard.
