Borgmann Villa is a small, quiet 3 star hotel with the 15 rooms. The historical building is old brick villa with large windows, tastefully modernised with pale decor, located in quiet leafy area, right on the border of the Vondelpark, Amsterdam's most famous park with a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, jogging and picnicking. The hotel is a walking distance from the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Concertgebouw. There is a very good connection to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and to Amsterdam Ringway A10.

The hotel is at a nice location in an area for diplomats. For Amsterdam, it was a very good price-value combination, although the size of single rooms are very small. The rooms are clean, but some refurbishing could help in the future. Finally, let me also emphasize that the staff is helpful.
Nice hotel next to the Vondelpark. Breakfast is very sober and the location is not very central. Area is very quiet and perfect for early morning jogging in the Vondelpark.
Warm welcome on arrival. Large room in an ancient private house with all adequate facilities. However no breakfast served after 9.00 am! Very quiet district near a large park. Very frequent and easy to use streetcars to reach any part of the city all day long. The place was up to our expectations.
Lovely location for the Vondelpark and a stroll in the morning. Skipped breakfast there and walked through the park for bagels and coffee near the Van Gogh museum. Excellent friendly service. twin room a bit small but fine. Quiet area but great restaurants nearby.

Nice quiet location near the heart of one of the busiest city. The park view from my room made me feel as if I was in a beautiful countryside, which you need to relax after doing lots of touring.
Excellent, small hotel in a quiet location but within easy tram journey to the city centre. Good for families wanting to visit Amsterdam but want to avoid busy centre.
A delightful place to stay - right in the South of Amsterdam in a quiet Diplomatic area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and I would certainly recommend this hotel as a pleasant place to stay. I'll certainly be staying again!

A small "family-run" feel hotel. Perfectly located next to Vondel Park. Easy access to the town centre and local attractions. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A welcome departure from the normal "corporate" hotels of most modern capitals. A home away from home.
My stay at the Borgmann Villa Hotel Amsterdam was very enjoyable. I had a lovely view of the park and my room was extremely peaceful with no noise to be heard other than the birds. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend in Amsterdam.
A wonderful location; let's just say the English Consulate is next door so it's not in a bad street, and, it's true, the park is 30ft from the door, I had a lovely view of it from my window with the pictaresque canal running inbetween. The room was good value for money, the service is genuinely warm and friendly here, and the management and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I plan on going back. Very soon.
The hotel is located right on Vondel Park - a perfect spot. Far enough from the center of Amsterdam for peace and close enough to enjoy the city on foot. Highly recommended!
