"Stayed in Botanical Villas for 2 nights. Private pool for Villas tenants is next to balcony. Large bathroom in open area with trees planted. Lushly trees. Inexpensive cuisine and private beach massage. No large sign at the road. Taxi driver wasted much time locating it. Indecent road to entrance. Ugly carpark blocked reception. Couldn’t use bathtub before getting rid of ants. Insects kept flying inside bathroom. Far from town centre, offsetted by charged hourly hotel minibus. No deposit box inside room. Valuables must be put in reception which is always slow and busy. Very bad cleaning service. Nobody collected dishes put next to Villas pool after breakfast, though cleaning maids did come across. They were still there late at night. 2 construction sites next to resort are operating day and night. Waiter / waitress did not understand our orders. We ordered club sandwiches before checking out. Told them to pack and put in reception. They delivered to our room in dishes." - Kai Ming Leung
