Getting there:Coming by Plane: The airport is at approx. 17 km far from our Botel Lisa and we offer a shuttle service (extra charge 20 eur). Otherwise take bus no. 200 up to station Köbánya-Kispest (blue line metro terminal station) and once there you get on the bus 48 or 51 and get off at the Bridge Gubacsi, walk 150 meters. Coming by bus from the city center: From the down town by bus no. 23 to the "Csepel exit", then walk 5 min. crossing the river, the hotel is on your left floating on the river. Coming by Car: From the highway along the "Soroksári street", until you see a bridge over the main road to "Csepel island". Turn on the left and you will see the hotel on the left side, on the river. We offer you the our hotel taxi for 20 EUR /one way for max. 3 persons/

Superb value for money in a lovely quiet location, with extremely helpful staff. The room was small, but clean and the bathroom was fully functional. We had an introduction to a Hungarian couple, and the hotel receptionist was kind enough to call them and help us make an arrangement to meet. The restaurant is good value, but may not be open every night in winter. The breakfasts were typical of hotel buffet breakfasts, the best thing was the lovely fresh bread. The location of the hotel suited us, but it is two bus rides into the city, so would not suit everyone. Enjoyed watching the coots on the river and the canoe club training while we ate our breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel boat on the River Danube. Far from the noise of the city but not too far from the public transport. Helpful staff.
Not too bad a hotel, not a good location (approx 30 mins away from centre by taxi) but it is very cheap. The rooms are small and especially the bathrooms are tiny and the shower curtain sticks to you throughout your shower! The best thing about the hotel was the outdoor terrace next to the restaurant where you can enjoy a beer right next to the river, it is quite peaceful.
The service and everyone working at Botel Lisa Budapest was excellent. Prices at the hotel were very reasonable. The location is about 30 mins by bus from central Budapest, however the tranquility of the peaceful setting where Lisa is moored is perfect for the seasoned travellers and also for the refreshing breezes from the river Danube. One can travel from the airport by 2 buses direct to the boat for under £2.00. On board the waiters and reception all speak English.
Great Hotel, staff, and price: the slight problems in getting to the city (getting used to the excellent public transport system) are more than offset by the setting on the river.... especially recomend the goulash soop in the restaurant

Good hotel (Mostly) helpful staff. Had problem with room which was sorted AND manager gave a free meal. Location is fine, just have to use taxis or public transport(HEV) to get into centre. Would stay again.
