Consumer Reviews and Rating

"This Inn is just 2 blocks from the shoreline; only a few rooms have a view...mine didn't and that was fine with me. The innkeepers Jane, her husband and 2 cats take very good care of you from A to Z. The suite was clean, comfortable and cozy. Your neighbors at the Inn are open to your questions and often invite you to go along on outings. But if you wish privacy...you've got it. All venues of dining and touring are within walking distance. I went deep sea fishing, Boogie boarded on the sand dunes of 90 mile beach and went on a high speed boat ride through the islands, going through the hole in the rock and into an island cave. And I am a gray haired grandmother travelling alone! If you want luxury and big picture window views go somewhere else. If you want to get down with the locals and have a clean comfortable place to stay in the middle of a lovely community of people...go to the Bounty Inn." - Kathy Davis

"I stayed in room 3 for 2 nights. I found the sound proofing between rooms to be well below average. It was possible to hear and understand what my neighbours were saying whilst they talked at a normal voice level. One of the adjoining rooms shared my toilet waste pipe, so that if they used their shower, handbasin or toilet the noise of the water rushing through the pipes into my bathroom, even with the door closed, was very loud and woke me on several occasions. There was also a strange, quite strong and not particularly pleasant smell to the place. I couldn't say what it was but it seemed to be inherant with the room not a left over smell from a previous guest. Despite this the place was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. I think I would try somewhere else next time though." - Anonymous

"A very clean and pleasant place to stay, also close to the shops/ restaurants & wharf for cruises." - Peter Roberts

"a block back from the sea front and a block to the side of the main street so very convienient with washing room, parking etc room clean and tidy, although bathroom and kitchen rather dated, but functional" - Anonymous
