Set in the heart of North Cornwall amid 230 acres of rolling hills and woodland, Bowood Park boasts modern accommodation and an award winning restaurant. Built on what was once part of a 13th century deer park owned by the Black Prince, Bowood is within a designated area of great landscape value, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy a round of golf on the 6700 yard, par 72 championship course.
Bedrooms are all en-suite and offer a good range of modern amenities. The superior bedrooms are larger in size and some boast balconies or views that overlook the golf course. The restaurant serves a wide range of cuisine which has earned an RAC Dining Award and The Lounge Bar, with its extensive stock of wines and malt whiskeys and late-night opening, is spacious and comfortably furnished with ample chairs and sofas.
The surrounding area boasts many attractions and activities such as the National Trust coastline, cycling the Camel Trail, clubbing in Newquay and fine dining in the Hotel’s own and other fashionable North Cornwall restaurants. The rolling hills and woodland of the 6,700 yard championship golf course is dotted with lakes and ponds that provide a beautiful wildlife reserve.
