If needing 3share accommodation I wouldn't recommend 1 bdrm apartment as sofa bed in the lounge barely had any covering over coil springs in mattress - very uncomfortable!!
Staff very friendly and helpful , carpet & tiles a bit worse for wearr but very clean & comfortable & location couldnt be better for CBD
Checked in on Friday afternoon, staff were great, The apartment has kitchenette & living area on one level and the bedroom & bathroom are upstairs. All was neat and clean. The view was across the construction site next door and we feel lucky that there was no construction going on during our stay. Off site parking is available at a special rate & we found it cheaper and handier than going to one of the major car parks. Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am next day cost $24.
I worked very hard and arrived the hotel before 10pm,I was exausted but I could enjoy bathing and dinner, and splept very well.
Was comfortable and convenient, although the building site next door could be an issue if you wanted a sleep in! Lots of space and would be perfect for a family, plus had the kitchen area so you could eat in if you wanted. The furniture was a little worn, but clean.
I was comfortable during the stay. There are some points to be improved; - In the Kitchen, better to have sponge for wash, cutting board, bleach to clean stain around the sink. - In the bathroom, better replace plug, which is move away when in filling water in bathtub. - Change soap size to avoid plugging on drain due to the size same as the drain, which I dropped it on the basin then stuck in it and struggled to remove the soap. - You can ask next door to stop making noise during night time that someting machine noise come from construction in the over night.
The hotel was at a great location and the staffs were nice and friendly. The room was a bit old and tired but it was clean. We did not have any problem with noise. We were upgraded to 2 bed room apartment so it was quite comfortable. Only problem was the lock of the sliding door in the room was broken and we asked the front office to come and fix it. We asked twice but no one came to have a look at it. It looked quite hard to get in from outside as the room was on the second floor and facing the little walkway. Still who knows anyone tries to get into the apartment. We felt a bit unsafe on the first night and could not have a very good sleep. I think these thing is essential to the safety to the hotel guests.
Spent two nights here. Was told I would get a quiet room. Quite disappointed to be kept up half the night by 'doof doof' music from the nightclub downstairs. Insisted on being moved to a different room for the next night, the only room they had available was about half the size of the room I had paid for. Reception staff couldn't provide any refund or compensation and told me to ring the manager in 2 days time. It would have been better if the hotel was proactive about customer service and said the manager would contact me. There are some positives to this hotel; rooms are in a reasonable state and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Apart from the noisy nightclub next door, the location is good; in the middle of town and close to some excellent cafes and restaurants. If the hotel could guarantee a room far away from the nightclub side of the building, I would consider staying here again, if they could not, then I would go somewhere else.
Location is in a great position, a little noisy , dont bother to ring down for any serivces, extra bed, linen, towel etc becuase it just wont happen, we had 3 rooms, toilet plumming was broken from Friday til Monday when we left, very smelly, had a sign to drop towels in bath or floor but if you did dont expect them to be changed becuase they dont change the towel, so you would come back to the wet towels you left to be changed after 4 days.
We enjoyed an excellent stay at Heritage. One minor complaint would be the noise factor on Saturday night from a nightclub nearby but it stopped at 1am. Extremely convenient to all areas of the city. Staff most helpful if approached.
great location in the city but room condition is a bit shabby
i stayed for 2 nights. the price and location is good.
great location good hotel
Good priced central hotel
We asked specifically for non smkoing rooms however when we got there it smelled as though about 20 people had been smoking in the room. As we had a young child with us we asked to be moved however was told it was not possible as there were no rooms available. They did bring us a deoderiser which did nothing, so we had the fan on and windows open and basically had a horrible nights sleep.
Initial impression was good, room clean but smelt of smoke and had no insulation from the noise outside, bottles crashing, people shouting most of the night, but overall would stay again
We enjoyed our stay here and would stay there again and would recommend it to our friends. Liked having the spaciousousness and the kitchen and loved the high ceilings in our rooms on the third floor. It was very clean and the staff at the desk were very helpful and courteous,
Non smoking room smelled as if someone had just smoked a packet in there!! Great location, very average rooms
Pretty basic hotel for the price however it 's location is great which is just what you need on a tennis weekend
great place and convenient to get to everything in city. well suited to family or group getaway.
