BreakFree Imperial Surf Surfers Paradise

Great location and a nice big apartment, although a little old and tired - could really do with a lot of maintenance and a freshen up. A few little comforts that I consider basic but were missing - a hair-dryer, bath plug, DVD/CD player, a mattress for the pull-out sofa bed etc. We were told that individual owners choose what to put in their units, so it pays to check when you book. Also, our designated car space was at the end of the lower basement carpark and the lift only went to the basement - we had to load our bags into 2 trolleys and push them up a steep driveway to get to the lift. The balcony around the large lounge/dining area gave us beautiful views of the ocean, Surfers Paradise high-rises, and the mountains and sunset in the distance. We booked this resort thinking it was inside the race precinct for the Gold Coast 600, but we were a couple of blocks away. Still, we were in walking distance for both the track and lots of restaurants and attractions.

Enjoyed the stay and the closeness to the heart of Surfers.

A good average apartment which is getting a bit dated but in a central location. Rooms serviced every 8 days but apartment has laundry with wmachine and dryer. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

The hotel is very well located (beach across the road; close to shops and restaurants) and the units are unusually large, sunny and airly. Also, large balconies and a "million dollar" view. However, it is an older building and not very well maintained. For example some fittings and furniture are demaged and/or scruffy, the walls are chipped in places etc. A refurbisment of the units would be in order but then perhaps the price would go up as well. We have been there several times over the years and despite the above complaints we would stay there again.

Vey enjoyable stay

we have stayed here for 3 nights and we don't find any room service at all. we find the carpets, floors and especially the kitchen are not clean. we have to wash the utensils and dishes again before using them....not good at all. well the best thing we like is the perfect view of the surfer paradise....we love it so much! in the night, it's kinda quiet too, we don't hear any noise for the weekends nites.

This was a fabulous place to stay, with 180degreee views of the beach and the indoor heated pool and spa were a hit in the winter months!! Definitely rebooking!!!

Apartments were large and clean. Great location opposite beach and 3 blocks from Cavil Ave (main street).

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The location of the hotel is just excellent, right across the road from the beach and a couple of streets up from Cavill avenue.

Neat, tidy and comfortable. Attractive furnishings. Well equiped. Good locatrion and great views. Very friendly and helpful front desk. Would go again and recommend.

The 180 degree views were magnificent! Large and comfortable appartment with well equipped kitchen and laundry. Beach at the doorstep, beautiful indoor and outdoor pools, and excellent spa. Close to the centre of Surfers Paradise with undercover security parking. Many tourist attractions close by, and handy location to theme parks (within 1/2 hour). Seaworld only 5 mins away. Courteous and professional staff. Wonderful holiday location, beautiful warm weather and a bargain in the winter months!

I have to admit was a little worried giving my credit card out over the internet to book a hotel, there were just so many things that could go wrong. But everything couldn't have gone smoother, the hotel was perfect, exactly what the site said it would be. There was nothing more I had to pay, the hotel had our reservation and we had an absolutely excellent stay. I will without a doubt book my next holiday through your site. 100% Satisfied Customer.

Great place to stay. Would definitely return to Imperial Surf on next trip. Fantastic location 5 mins walk from Cavill yet well placed away from hustle bustle. Only hitch was our early arrival at Gold Coast (8.30 am) did not allow us to check into apartment. We had to wait till 12 noon. Luckily we had a car. Wish that early check in can be arranged. Otherwise Imperial Surf is most highly recommended.
